55 km North of Dubbo with easy access to the Dubbo Western Plains Zoo and 80 km South of the Warrumbungle National Park.
The campground is 800m off the Newell Highway tucked in on the Marthaguy Creek out of highway sight. Yarralla is a working mixed farming enterprise running sheep, cattle and cropping.
The campground also overlooks a large dam with a Jetty.
The campground offers a safe and secure location to camp away from town.
Wood is available for a camp fire during winter months.

We run a sheep farm on our property located north east of Dubbo. This is the land of big sky country.
The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular here along with starry nights, beside the campfire especially when the full moon arrives. It is nothing short of amazing as you marvel at the sights from the verandah of The Tiny Home or from your campsite.
Not far from our property you’ll find the Goonoo CCA Zone 1 National Park. CCA Zone parks are Community Conservation Areas reserved as national parks. The greater Dubbo region offers many activities for tourists, adventure seekers and nature lovers.
The Tiny House is fully self-contained with a fold out double bed and a little kitchenette featuring a fridge, cookware and utensils and a BBQ. The bathroom/laundry are separate.
We also offer a campsite for additional family members or friends.
You're welcome to go for a swim in the dam which is a short walk away, or take a stroll to the top of the rocky hill to see 360 degree views. Meet the locals (emus) or see the sheep being shorn if your booking coincides at the same time.

Land was previously a sheep station but nature is slowly reclaiming it. We have been here six years and have seen hundreds of native trees come back through not overgrazing and fencing off bushland.
Dry sandy creek bed (good for kids to explore) , except during floods. Lots of shady gumtrees.
2km grassy walk around fence line for those looking to exercise during their stay.

Relax around the campfire in the evenings as you enjoy the stars in the night sky. The country is reasonably flat and accessible for any type of vehicle. In the Western Plains region of NSW, the country town is known for its windmills, so start your visit by following the Windmill Walk along the shores of the Castlereagh Rivers. Afterward, you can visit an emu farm and learn about Gilgandra’s unique WWI history at the Coo-ee Heritage Centre. North of town, Warrumbungles National Park has thrilling mountain hikes and scenic drives. It's worth camping there to enjoy stargazing in Australia's first Dark Sky Park, and there are several campgrounds, including hike-in bush camps and huts along the trails and unpowered campgrounds with space for caravans and campervans. Campers also have a choice of caravan parks and Hipcamps in and around Gilgandra, many of which provide powered sites and on-site amenities.
