Pitch your tent next to the hay field in a secluded wooded area on a historic farm. There is a walking trail that takes you around the ponds and past a small family cemetery that is over 300 years old. The property is dotted with bird houses attracting many different species such as purple martins, blue birds, wood ducks, owls and more. Our resident blue heron can be spotted on most days. Because we don't use pesticides on our farm, in the summer months there are millions of fireflies, making nighttime walks especially magical.

Beware car campers this is NOT a Park at listing site despite that this is how it shows up on Hipcamp. We are experienced car campers (sleep in vehicle) and Hipcamp users. This experience was uncomfortable and overpriced to sleep on the side of the road in the driveway immediately adjacent to the house that was also rented out to a family. The ground was too wet to drive on and the host, who was not on site, did not offer any helpful alternatives. When contacted in advance they inaccurately told me that this was advertised as a tent only site and they don’t usually let people drive to the site. They did say we could drive to the site if we were ‘careful’ of the soft spots. However, when we arrived and realized that much of the ground was wet and with no signage or anyone on site to help, we decided to be respectful of their land and not drive on it. It’s a beautiful location if you are tent camping. Just be aware that the communication may be inaccurate or misleading, so you should ask all your questions in advance.
Secluded and picturesque.
Beautiful property! Open fields, ponds.
