We were located about 300 feet from the house where a standard electrical chord was available. By the time I plugged in it was 350. The circuit tripped (owner not home). There was a heat advisory and my wife has MS and living with no AC was not a good idea.
If it was not for the amazing breeze we could not have stayed.
The same (distance) was true for the water source and I was concerned it was not a sterile potable water hose.
This place has amazing potential but you need to be say on Hip Camp it's a 15 amp circuit. So I could bring my generator and fill up water at a safe place (there is a campground right next door)
Finally, there were chickens not far from us and it was not clear how (or if ) they were being fed and watered.
The location is perfect to see Mystic and there are a bunch of dog friendly restaurants.
William's land was great! There is a nice clearing to set up tents and a fun fire pit. Great place to see some stars!
The setting at William’s campsite was just as we had hoped, serene and private. Having a view of the pond out of our front window was the icing on the cake. William was extremely helpful in getting us set up. All in all, a great experience!
Excellent stay! William is very quick to reply to messages, and it is such a beautiful property! Very private feeling, the greenhouse completely obstructs views of/from the house. Lots of space to choose a good spot to pitch the tent. There's a cute little mowed path around the perimeter of the field, perfect for walking a dog or just checking out the property. Two ponds on the site, one with a fountain (we loved the white noise it provided while sleeping!) Overall very nice site and very nice host!
Thank you for such an accommodating and easy stay! Super responsive host. Really cool pond and river.

Nice property, quiet and easy to find. The pond on property made for great background sound. We had a very relaxing stay overnight.
William was a great host. His property is gorgeous and good for fishing!
We have a small RV so ‘camping’ is easy. Parked facing a pond and field away from the owners home. Gave good private view. Bordering the property is a cold trout stream. Caught some brook trout in the middle of the afternoon so the fish population must be substantial. Fairly new owner, plans on adding some sites. Only needs a good fire pit which apparently is in the works. Our grill was fire enough for us.
