Here you will find natural springs that flow from what we call "The wall of water" down to one of our small waterfalls. We also have many artifacts including dinosaur tracks and carved dates in the stones in the walls that go back to 1887. There is a trail that leads back in time to an area with 80 foot brownstone walls left from the quarry operations. Here you can find a rear patio where a musician will enjoy the acoustics unlike any other. Tuesday and Friday Drum circles 6:30-9 with a sunset ceremony. We sit 50 feet above the water upon the ledges that overlook the Brownstone Discovery and Adventure park below . Dean was a wonderful host running a very unique campsite. Before and during our stay he was very helpful, providing detailed information and met us upon arrival to ensure we got into the camp without issue. Although we arrived at the end of their drum circle what we did catch was very cool. This site has a lot of history behind it and a lot of great views.

This place was amazing. Dean and Darlene are excellent friendly and knowledgeable hosts that really get the vibe and allure of the area. We had a wonderful time with our two boys making this our homebase for a few days as we explored the area. Stunning views, interesting backstory, well spaced camping sites.

When we first started clearing this land it was a wet mess of overgrown vines that was killing all the trees and the only thing that lived here was the frogs lol. We made sure to protect them with the moat and pond locations and the many waterways. So much has moved in as the birds found the protected ledges for their homes. Darlene and I limit the activities here to keep that Vibe going. Now we added a grounding path called the Peace trial , a sand filled path you can walk barefoot from the front to the Peace Circle out back. Than you for the review . Dean , Darlene

Beautiful spot, great host, and Friday night drum circle was a fantastic and welcoming experience! The campground itself is so clean and well kept, and the quarry, history, and beautiful vista really tied it all together. I’ll be going back!

What an absolutely beautiful place that is unlike any other. It’s historic charm, relaxing zen vibe, amazing views and very accommodating hosts really set the bar for primitive camping.

Dean, the rock whisperer, has created such a special place for others to enjoy! This type of camping isn't for everyone, as it doesn't have the usual amenities (yet), but it was perfect for us. Beautiful views, drum circle on Tuesdays and Fridays and natural artistry around every corner. Thank you Dean and Darlene for sharing your wonderful property with the public. We will definitely return.

Best private property RV experience we've had. Darlene and Dean were great hosts. They were available to answer our questions and give us an impromptu tour and details about the quarry but they also gave us our privacy as well. The quarry is magnificent to see. Feels like a small slice of the grand canyon. Our family had a great time visiting the Brownstone Discovery Park next door. Our stay will always be remembered.

What a unique place to park the RV overnight! The rock formations, the view, the dinosaur prints, oh my! The quarry is a one-of-a-kind camping experience lofted 50 feet above the water with extraordinary views. I only wish we had more time and no toddler to worry about. Parents of obstinate little ones: take care. You will have to be vigilant because it is a large cliff. Couples and adult friends, camp til your heart's content. I hear there is a drum circle twice a week and an arts festival coming up. What an awesome place with great hosts. Thank you for the stay!

thank you for the review and kind words and a reminder to others that we are 50 ft above water with great view but you still need to watch your children. But the kids do love the dinosaur prints and fish pond. Safe travels Dean , Darlene
