Suggested donation, this is not only the history of the quarry but the history of Quarry view bought in 2019 an overgrown forgotten part of history. This National historic landmark supplied Brownstone that built New York and Bostons . The beginning, Stonecutter James Stanclift is believed to have been the first European to live on the eastern bank of the river. In 1686, the town granted him “a parcell of land upon the rocks” in payment for his work as a mason; by 1696, he owned six acres of prime quarry land. Along with our dinosaur prints and clean up we are excited to share this gem with you.

this is an absolutely amazing property with stunning views and incredible camp sites. the very kind hosts Dean & Darlene have clearly put a ton of work into their property and so cool that it's setup for others to enjoy! definitely the place to camp if you're in the area.
Fantastic location with beautiful views of the quarry, beautiful cliff faces with vegetation and birds, and a huge fire pit. Dean was extremely helpful and kind. Clean spot. Lots of space. Location is near brownstone adventure park which kids loved. We were sad to leave and will be coming back!
Amazing experience. Beautiful, secluded yet with everything that you need. Dean was super helpful and made himself available at all times. Restroom situation is a porta-potty but it is cleaned prior to each new camper. Highly reccomend staying at this site!
Darlene & Dean were very accommodating and the site was beautiful. The quarry had a uniqueness to it. We were given our own bathroom and were even able to change sites half way through to get another cool view of the water.
Dan and Darlene were great hosts. They made sure we were happy and comfortable with our camp site before leaving us on our own for the day.
