We loved our entire stay! Stayed for a week and a half me and my husband loved it ❤️ As Texans from a small town in south Texas we loved the rural plaines! We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the wyndy ridge! Will be back soon in our rv again :)

Great spot with amazing starry nights.
Beautiful country. The host is very kind and accommodating.
Very friendly and cute puppies. The rv spot was level enough for us and included water and power. Beautiful hilly views from the rock and grass pad. Cloudy night so didnt get to enjoy the stars we were hoping for. Far enough from residence and had plenty of privacy. Perfect stop before you head into mountains. Only stayed one night but would recommend and return if we travel this way again. Very windy hence the name.

The hosts were very kind and helpful. The property is beautiful. You can see for miles. It’s a wonderful spot to rest and recharge.
Highly recommended!
We had a great stay at Windy Ridge. Beautiful view of Pikes Peak and nice views of the prairie. Brenda has a nice set up and we had 30amp service and water.
Added benefit was watching the chocolate labs and the puppies.
Thanks, Brenda, for the hospitality.

Thanks for the kind words!
Brenda was super responsive and lovely, but this was not a good spot for us. Though I will note that we arrived in the clouds and storm, so we didn't get to explore at all, and things were covered in snow so we couldn't see any paths the next day. The pad is fitted with water & electricity which is great, but it is right in front of their house and felt very exposed. Lots of dogs either barking at us or staring at us...we were traveling with 2 dogs, so this wasn't ideal...our youngest dog was so anxious about it she couldn't do her business outside. Ok I guess for a stopover, but a bit of a weird set up, wouldn't recommend for multiple days (or folks with dogs). Just a note, wifi is not available. Brenda said we could go on their porch if needed, which I appreciate, but I had some work deadlines to send out and had selected their location for the wifi (my fault, I should've confirmed with her directly first).

Our chocolate labs really are so curious with the new activity on our property. That's why I noted their presence on our listing. Normally they have the run of 10 acres around the house but we kennel them when people are present so they spend a lot of time just watching what is going on. But I can imagine that your little furry friends were bothered by them. I agree with the WiFi issue...and fortunately, we've been able to use a WiFi extender and now have WiFi down at the site. I just streamed a movie on my ipad while sitting down there! So glad to resolve this.
Phenomenal stay! Beautiful land and the most warming family to welcome you. Brenda and Keegan went above and beyond for us as we hit a few small bumps in the road- including helping us out of a mud pit on the side of the road! We enjoyed the space they gave us while still being available if needed. Loved being their first guests!

Glad you were our first guest and glad we could help!

Thank you for choosing WyndyRidge! The prairie in the spring really can be pretty and this year it is especially so.
