My tiny home (Pinyon Pine) was absolutely adorable! Very clean, seems really new. Good design utilized the small space well, making it very comfortable. You can see a million stars - the only town nearby is Meeker, and it's tiny, so there's minimal light pollution. And generally very quiet. I slept better than at home (except Saturday night, when some families renting several homes made good use of the communal outdoor space past quiet hours, which I didn’t mind for one night).
The staff was super helpful and the office has a small gift shop with cute local wares.
My parents stayed in the RV area, which really needs some shade, but other than that, we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.
There are tons of hiking trails in the vicinity, especially toward Trappers Lake, and barely anyone around, even in mid-summer. Definitely worth the drive to Trappers Lodge for lunch, we saw a million wildflowers and so many deer. I recommend renting an ATV in town so you can explore the extensive OHV Trail system, which is a big thing there. So much to explore!
Awesome little spot. Excellent tiny home that provided a really unique experience. Would be even better without COVID (plenty of communal space) but the site provided plenty of Safe space and comfort. Well maintained. Wildfire in Glenwood Springs made for an amazing sunset. We would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves in the area.
