Super well thought out camp spot with ample parking. As others have mentioned the drive in is a dirt road and a little tight if you have a wider car. I highly recommend catching the sunset at the look out area it is gorgeous. The camp is a nice quiet forested spot to get away from it all for a little while.
Area was exactly as described. We found this place last minute the night before our stay. Andre was great responding to any questions we had. The lookout was just a perfect piece of heaven. The location was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.
I didn’t actually get to go because of the weird Blizzard of May 2022 in Colorado. I look forward to getting out there over the summer when there isn’t a foot and a half of snow on the ground!
Andre was very responsive leading up to the weekend and I’m sure is a great host.
Private and spectacular views!
My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time staying here for the weekend. The shaded picnic table and firepit w/chairs were really nice to have, and wow, the private overlook was a fantastic spot to sit back, have a drink, and watch the sunset! The only hangup was that Google Maps initially directed us to a dead-end, claiming the destination was based on the GPS coordinates provided. Once we backtracked to find a cell signal, it re-routed us the correct way and we had no problems locating the site from thereon. A small glitch, but just to make you aware. Still had a fantastic time!
Very well done site. Andre went the extra mile to make the place inviting, with table, chairs, and accents. Nice flat spot in the shade for our tent. Neat fire pit that will be cool when the fire bans are over.
