The reason we share our property:

“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.” John Muir

To preserve something that is wild and free is preserving a small piece of the world which allows people to be able to find solace and comfort. In this way, we feel as if we are somehow “giving back.“

Our hope is that at the end of the day, your hands & feet should be dirty, your hair a royal mess, and your soul singing!

We had a lovely late summer stay on KM's property. The sunsets and stary nights were just what we needed. We also took a nice hike up to the top of the bluff. We ordered fresh eggs too, which made a nice breakfast. All together a great experience.

It was so nice to host you here on our land and we thank you for leaving the campground so clean and the way you found it. Believe it or not, that’s not always a common occurrence. You are good people and we welcome you back anytime.

Loved our spots. We went with another couple and it was great to be far from everyone else. It is on the plains so different than the mountain camping we are used to. The sunsets were gorgeous.

Very peaceful, quiet, and serene. Beautiful views. KM was very helpful with all kinds of information on where to fish, hike, and just enjoy nature. We were there to fish so did not go on any walks or trails. Did see the waterfalls on the way out and managed to find the farmers market. Thanks for the fresh eggs as well.

It was really nice to have you both stay. We hope that we will become your “go to” for rest and relaxation in the future in your cute camper. You are a lovely couple.

This was a relatively last minute booking for us prior to the Labor Day weekend. The host was awesome and communicated promptly. The spacing between sites allows you to enjoy yourself and the amazing views without feeling cramped like traditional campgrounds. This is boondocking, so be prepared. There is water available on the property if needed. Our time went way too fast. We will return!
