We loved staying at Simply Shaanti- not once but twice as we crossed the country while contactless camping. Rajul was absolutely a joy to connect with in advance, during and after our stays- she is timely in her response and makes you feel welcomed while giving you the feeling that you are camping away from it all while on her property! She was particularly supportive and respectful regarding our COVID concerns.
We camped on two different sites- both comfortable! Each night there was another camper; however, the site was still quiet and we felt as if we had the place to ourselves. The views are stunning and we watched a full moon rise and beautiful sunrise during our stays- so lovely. The fields were dotted with yellow wildflowers and both cows and horses were nearby in addition to the deer who make their home just down from the property.
Castle Rock makes it easy to get supplies, which was a plus as it was our mid-way point in both directions. We plan to be back this coming summer and look forward to another stop at Simply Shaanti!
Rajul's site was a nice, peaceful and quite stop on a multi-state road trip. The location is pretty much as advertised. It's a basic site: large patches of cleared grassland in the future backyard of a home under construction. There are some lovely views here as well as other properties with homes nearby, so certain views are punctuated by homes or containers/homes under construction. That said, it's a lovely location nonetheless and I recommend it if you're self-contained. Rajul was quick to reply. Directions were spot-on; access to the site was straightforward-- though sites are not numbered on the property. Be sure to orient yourself to aerial overview during booking.
We needed a place to park our rental camper can for the night before heading back to Boston. Simply Shanti was great. We arrived a little after dark but found our spot with a little help😊the early morning sunrise over the field was beautiful.
Super nice place! Stayed to be closer to the Renaissance Festival and It was lovely. Beautiful view of the stars and the sunrise. It is completely on the plains with no tress though, so watch out for wind! Would definitely go again.
Expansive & peaceful retreat
Rajul's land is peaceful, open and expansive. I visited during late summer when sunflowers were popping up all over the place. It's a lovely little escape from the city if you just need some fresh air and to see the stars for a few nights.
Simple and peaceful
Rajul was so helpful caring she came out to meet us in the dark because we where late and kinda lost. Wish we could have stayed longer but we had to move on. Thanks again to our host.
