We have had several guests report problems with the booking process which we were about to fix right away. *** A rare opportunity to stay in a rustic and glamorous artist's cabin backing to thousands of acres of national forest and tucked into 12 acres of private woods. Part of the owners' estate, the cabin features a sitting/dining area, sleeping loft and private outdoor cooking and dining area. The cabin is furnished with many of the pieces from the Lost Creek Cabin Studio and features solar electricity and indoor camp toilet facilities. Fresh water is provided. The artist's retreat is a luxury glamping cabin.
We have pets and love them. Most of our guests do as well so we are happy for you to bring your furries along for the fun. We ask that dogs be on leash and under voice control. (There is a $20/pet/night fee.)
As long as there is no fire ban, you are welcome to enjoy a campfire in the outdoor fireplace. We require guests to diligently tend their fire and completely extinguish the campfire when guests are not near. There is firewood to gather on the property and we have firewood for purchase as well. We do not allow guests to bring in firewood as the area has begun to see invasive species of insects and we do not want to contribute to this potentially devastating situation.

The cabin was a perfect mountain getaway. Debbie was more than helpful making sure we had everything we needed. Great views and hikes nearby. We would definitely go back.

My husband, infant daughter and border collie enjoyed a wonderful 3 evenings here! We love tent camping, but weren't quite ready to try this out with our infant - the cabin was perfect! There was enough space to make comfortable room and organiztion for all of us. Soon we are moving out of state from Colorado and wanted some quality time together in the mountains and this was a great way to do so - it is beautiful! We spent the majority of our time outside at the campsite and at hikes in the area. It was great to hike right out of the property. Deborah made a great lunch recommenndation at River Bend Bistro that we enjoyed after a hike. We loved the propane outdoor kitchen and Deborah provides all the dishes and utensils to do so. It won't surprise me one bit if we are back in the future when we are craving some mountain time! PS - it was really nice to have a disposable toilet within the cabin - no going out to the bathroom during the night when it gets cold!
We had a great time at Deborah’s cabin! She was so sweet and had a sign waiting for us upon arrival. Her daughter Sam also went out of her way to make a happy birthday sign for my wife which made her day. We will definitely be back.

We had a good time at your rental. For the price we paid we were expecting a slightly more refined stay (and my husband fell down the loft stairs!)
Deborah was so accommodating and the cabin was perfect! Will do again!
Deborah was a perfect host and had some cool local Sasquatch stories to tell. Place was private and had everything you need! Great hiking access out the back door.
Awesome little site! Deborah was a great host
What a lovely way to spend time in nature. Deborah’s cabin was so well kept and had touches through that made it extra cozy ( twinkly lights, a welcome sign, and an electric fireplace for the cabin). Deborah went above and beyond with her hospitality - my sister left her sweater and she is going to send it to her!
We brought our dog (Obi) who enjoyed being in nature vs his normal city life. I highly recommend!

This place was beautiful, cozy, and Deborah was super nice and very helpful. She had a cute sign for my boyfriends birthday, she gave us a tour and showed us all the things we would need to know. We took a hike with our pup, had a fire, played games in the cabin (which is seriously the cutest) and lounged around in the hammocks. The views were beautiful and it was so quite and peaceful. We would definitely go back!
