From our property there is amazing access to seldom used public lands, with historic mining ghost camps and hidden beauty to find. Oil Creek is a short hike down the mountain. Nearby hiking trails Horse Thief Park/Pancake Rock. Terrain is moderate mountainside. Elevation 9600”

This was truly a magical stay and I am highly recommending this to anyone in the area and even outside of it. It’s definitely worth a drive.
You can feel the love and care the hosts have put into to this camp sight, it resonates in the decor, the care they take of their campers and the stillness in the forest.
The amenities were MORE than enough and so helpful. They really put so much thought into this and I am not so patiently waiting for the next time my husband and fur babies get to come back. We camped in the fall for our anniversary, we stayed warm and we’re surprised with a tea party put together by our host. It was impeccable and the pictures sure show it.

This property is incredibly special. Upon arrival, you can immediately tell the intention and energy that was put into creating this beautiful getaway space. Aimee was incredibly accommodating and even helped me make this birthday surprise for my partner extra special. There are incredible details in the design and decor of the tent/platform/outhouse and just about every item/utensil you could possibly need to make your stay relaxing, easy, and comfortable. Not to mention, the location is nestled in the most beautiful forest and groves of Aspen trees. Thank you Aimee, we will definitely be back!
What a beautiful and magical forest hideaway. I knew from the start that this was going to be special when I received a kind message from Aimee warning me that the temperatures were going to be very cold on the night of my stay. (She wasn't kidding!) Arriving at the site, I was touched by the forest teepee tucked right into the aspen grove. There is lots of land to roam and explore, a wonderful fire pit, and a great little outdoor kitchen setup. Truly everything you need. The tent and bed are so comfortable, as is the outhouse. There are touches of artistry everywhere you look. If you are a camper and are looking for something extra special....this is your place. Pure magic.

This place is perfection. Reviews won’t do it justice. Everything is thought out in such detail to make a wonderful stay. I will remember my stay for life. Such a beautiful place.

This place is amazing. Private, minimal, the perfect final leg of our honeymoon. The tent is comfortable, the grounds are peaceful. Driveway was a bit of an adventure, but you're in the mountains what do you expect? The ingredients to make breakfast are a personal and thoughtful gesture from the host. Really truly a memorable time here.

Wonderful site. Very relaxing and equipped for most needs. We brought our black lab with us and the site was perfect for dogs. If you have a dark colored dog, invest in a lite collar for at night for safety. I will definitely come back.

This was a beautiful and secluded get away. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen set up was great. We especially liked the cute little out house. I would recommend this spot to anyone that wants some time away from the hustle and bustle of every day life!
