Once a part of a ranch, the old rancher sold this piece of property to a young family with a big vision in the early 90's. With direct access to the Arkansas river, this property is a dream for anyone with a love for rafting, kayaking, suping, fishing or splashing in the river. You are a short drive from downtown Salida, a quick walk or bike from The Drift In, bar restaurant and outdoor music venue and easy access to all the hiking, mountain biking and adventures you could hope for. Your camp host was raised here and has a deep deep love for this land. We hope that you enjoy it as much we all have.

    This stay was just what I needed! Direct access to the river to cool off, perfect little camper for me and my pup. They made sure I had everything I needed when I arrived and I definitely did! Very beautiful place to stay.

    Beautiful spot on the river. Everything was well maintained and marvelous. We will definitely be spending more trips here as time allows!

    Perfect River Stay Away From it All
    Molly and this property were AMAZING! Such a gracious hostess and a gorgeous spot right along the Arkansas River. Molly was super awesome and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. No road sound or people at all at this location - tucked back just far enough to get away from it all while still close to both Salida and Buena Vista. The RV was the perfect space for my husband and I to basecamp our climbing and whitewater adventures. Comfortable bed and all you need to prepare meals right there. We loved having the beach eddy on the river just steps outside the door! Perfect spot to enjoy dinner and take a dip in the Arkansas. Can’t wait to come back!
