An incredible spot with a fabulous view! Can’t wait to book our next stay. We are torn between raving about this spot and keeping it a secret!

We had a great time. Definitely need a high clearance vehicle and at least AWD. 4WD would be better. We had creatures visit at night but no problems. A neighbor down the hill did ask what we were doing there but was friendly after we explained. It would be pretty tight with two vehicles. We had one up the road and one stayed parked at the bottom. Overall great experience! Great and communicative host! Thanks a bunch.
This was a wonderful little campsite! We really enjoyed the sunset and the fire pit. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a wonderful spot with awesome views & great space. We only spent one night but it was an easy getaway from Denver and the sunset & stars were beautiful. No issues making it to the site with our Outback (just take it slow & steady) and there was plenty of space for our car, tent, & table/chairs set up along with the fire pit. Our dog loved exploring the site & it was great to have the space up the mountain side that seemed private. The site is flat but rocky and splurging with our air mattress in our tent was perfect. Make sure your prepared to bring your own water & pack out all your trash. The site was really clean! The only unexpected is that with the location you do get sound up from the valley neighborhood, not sure if it’s a common occurrence, but had 3-4 dogs barking on/off until 3am-ish…luckily we had earplugs with us. Didn’t see or hear any animals, other than birds, close to camp but did hear a pack of coyotes in the distance at night. James was a great host. He provided suggestions for hikes/food in the area & ensures his guest know their safety basics! Wish we could have stayed longer & hope to go back soon!
Camping here was amazing!! The spot was private with stunning views! James did a great job of making sure we got there safely and answering any questions, we felt very safe and comfortable staying at this spot. He wasn’t kidding when he said you definitely need 4 wheel drive to make it up the hill!
Awesome views and seclusion. I really enjoyed the stay. Nice level camp site surrounded by trees.
Great spot for someone looking for something a bit off the beaten path and plenty of their own space. The views from the site are 👌. James was a great host and we recommend this spot to anyone looking to stay in the area.
This campsite is a little treasure hidden away from town. The site is far enough and elevated from nearby houses; making it great for viewing stars and having privacy. Beautiful campsite with great sunset views.
The road to get to the campsite is a little rough and requires some confidence of your 4WD. The site fits 2 cars and 2 tents.
There’s a large firepit and some shade on the site. Definitely bring bug spray!!! We had no encounters with wildlife but due to the location and seclusion, being bear deterrent and pack your food accordingly.
