If you are coming in the fall, there is no better viewing spot than RHIZE MOUNTAIN RETREAT. RHIZE is surrounded by BLM with unlimited hiking on our 43 acre paradise with many options and difficulty levels from easy strolls to miles of more challenging hiking within 5 minutes. Views of Pring Reservoir and the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range make every spot truly magical!!

For those that want to be away from any hustle and bustle, RHIZ is the place for you! You can relax on your private deck, play corn hole, build a fire, read a book in your comfy cabin, take a nap in our hammock hangout in the trees, pick wild flowers, do yoga (private classes available for a small fee), enjoy a bottle of wine as the sun sets behind the mountains and wake to the sound of the many birds and wildlife on the land!

Special touches for a relaxing retr
We had an amazing stay. Misty and Ron do a wonderful job of adding special touches to make the stay special from a small vase of flowers in the cabin to bringing campers together for wood fired pizza night. We’d absolutely recommend the stay, it’s totally worth it once you get there.
Beautiful, romantic, and fun!
My girlfriend and I had an amazing time! Misty and her husband were wonderful hosts. So friendly and fun. Despite the pouring rain we were able to make pizzas in the pizza oven and chat with other campers. Such a fun group and great vibes all around. The blue jay cabin was very cozy and surprisingly warm at night even as the temps got pretty chilly! I will second others warnings, ideally arrive in a vehicle that is able to handle unpaved and rocky roads! The route up to the campsites is an adventure. We loved our pancake breakfast as well. Definitely worth the price. Overall an amazing experience, we will be back!
The view was exceptional, the cabin was amazing, the host were wonderful. We loved every bit of it. We will definitely be back! We got the two A frame cabins next to each other and went with a couple friends and our dog. We all had a absolute great time.
Great find with great hospitality. The Blue Jay has beautiful views and is close to the Sunset Rock trail. The A-frame is cute and the hosts are very friendly. Definitely recommend staying here.
We spent two nights here and had such a great stay. Misty and Ron were the best hosts I have ever had and they do a great job of making everyone feel welcome. The a-frames and outhouses are perfectly clean and there are plenty of activities to stay entertained around the campground. This is the perfect place to have a weekend in the woods away from Denver or Colorado Springs without the hassle of setting a tent up. Would not hesitate to recommend their place to anyone and we can't wait to stay here again!!
Beautiful views and great company!
This was our first attempt at camping with our 5 month old and it was great! We got in a little later than expected the first night and Misty was very accommodating! She greeted us on our way in and helped us get settled for the night. The A frame cabin was just enough room for our little one in his pack and play, 2 adults, and a 70lb dog and most of our stuff! We were greeted with fresh french press coffee on our first morning and some warm clean towels to dry off. Next we went down and made breakfast on the well stocked kitchen area, with sink, grill, griddle, and all the plates and utensils you would ever need! After a day of fun and relaxing we sat down by the communal campfire/kitchen area as Misty and Ron got the fire going. In total it was about 8 people there that weekend. We enjoyed dinner and good conversation. The kitchen area/ outhouse is shared amongst the guests. While these amenities are shared we never felt like we were too "on top" of each other and could easily get away to our own little cabin. The hospitality shown by Misty and Ron were unmatched. She showed care and general interest and loved playing and holding our little one! (Thanks for letting us get a full dinner in mostly uninterrupted! :) ) I would highly recommend Rhize Camp for anyone either trying out camping for the first time and still want some familiarities of home, camping with their little one for the first time, or camping without all the hassle!
Girls from ky who came at midnight
Staying at Rhize was one of the highlights of our trip. Misty went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and more. Our flight arrived later than expected, but she stayed up and greeted us to make sure that we were all set when we arrived. The set up is beautiful and the view is incredible. If you are looking to unplug and rest, this is the place for you. We will be visiting again!
We had an absolutely magical time staying at Rhize Mntn Retreat!! Misty and Ron went above and beyond with the hospitality they provided and all the thoughtful touches throughout the cabins and property. My partner and I, along with our neighbors, stayed in the Blue Jay and Hawk cabins which were perfect for 2 couples and our doggos. We added on the fuel charge in order to use the outdoor kitchen which was totally worth it and fully stocked with everything you need for some yummy camp meals. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back soon!!
First time glamping and loved it!!
Misty and Ron are amazing hosts. From thei ute we got there we felt like family! The a frames are adorable, the views are spectacular, the pizza is to die for with the homeade marinara, and best of all, the company was great! My wife and I will be back as often as we can!
