Camping at Lake Fork Earth & Sky Center was perfect for us! Very quiet and secluded. Well kept. Port-a-potty super clean and convenient.

We were the only ones camping at this time, so it was just what we wanted. Please know that the sites are quite close together and you are in a valley so short days of sunlight, but beautiful!

Great location. It was our first visit to Lake City and we fell in love! We also drove to North Clear Creek Falls which was gorgeous - highly recommend!

I solo camped at site #4 (nice large site). As others posted plenty of firewood and clean porta-John’s. I was the only one there my first night and felt safe. Prepare for mosquitos. The mornings were lovely w all the birds welcoming the dawn. No water so bring your own.

The night sky was amazing. The campsites are set pretty close together. Each is provided with their own bear bins for food and trash. You do have to take your trash with you.

A little tough to find. Don’t rely on google maps. Very quiet, close to Lake City, but far enough away to disconnect. Great camping spot.

Great quiet spot near Lake City. The whole campground is small and we had it to ourselves two of the nights we were there. Plenty of firewood. Portable restrooms were clean. Staff were responsive and helpful when I asked questions. I would be happy to stay there again.

The land was beautiful and well prepared for our stay. They were a couple of well-kept, clean portable toilets, plenty of firewood, and some well marked campsites. The campsite is protected from a lot of wind because of its location, but bring lots of bug spray depending on the season. Prepare yourself to look at the sky a lot because the sky is so beautiful during the day and particularly the night.
Plan to arrive during daylight because the site is well-marked but hard to navigate at night because of the low-light in the area.

We were there over 4th of July weekend and practically had the campground to ourselves! It was so quiet and peaceful. Sites are well spaced with plenty of trees for shade and privacy. Abundant firewood and immaculate portable toilets. Close to Lake City and gorgeous Lake San Cristobal, plus lots of incredible hiking a short drive away. Highly recommend!

Leo's favorite part of camping was bringing us sticks he found.
