We have horses, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys & pigs which you are welcome to visit. Please don't feed the animals or open gates without property owner permission- the farm animals are escape artists! Farm tours/hangouts with the animals available for a small fee depending on schedule availability.
Well-maintained dirt road access. 2 campsites (trailers ok, 1 per site) in an open sagebrush area with a shared firepit and picnic table under a grove of cottonwoods. Close to the animal corrals and short walk to the stream.
Some local attractions include fishing at the Mountain Home Reservoir, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Rio Grande River, Zapata Falls, and lots of mountains to hike and explore (Pike-San Isabel, Carson & Rio Grande National Forests).
We have bundles of firewood for sale as well as s'mores supplies & pasture-raised meats (bison, chicken, pork, etc) for the grill- let us know if you need anything!
We are creating this farm from scratch, so our home & barn are still a work in progress (please forgive their unfinished appearance!). We hope you enjoy our funky homestead and the natural beauty that surrounds it!

This place is amazing! It has been a while since I have experienced such beautiful sunsets. I stayed here 3 nights with my 12 year old daughter and 2 year old son on a 10 day camping trip through CO. This was hands down their favorite camp. I couldn’t peel my son away from the animals. It was so sweet to wake up with the goats or horse grazing outside our tent door. Jesse was fabulous and the location was prime. Highly recommend staying here and the kids are already begging to come back :)

We spent two nights on Jesse's off-grid farm and it was such a serene environment. The view of the mountains was idyllic!!! Our host was 110% accommodating throughout the booking process and during our stay. The site is flat spacious.
We were close enough to the sand dunes to make day trips over there and loved every minute in that magical park 🙌
The last nearly 4 miles to reach the site is an unpaved road that can be rough at times, but once you reach the site you'll never want to leave. Literally. My youngest child cried because he had so much fun and wanted to stay longer.
Thanks for a great stay!
