Ten acres overlook the La Plata Mountains outside of Durango, CO. My small farm borders pinyon forest and rings with crickets, redwing blackbirds, and chorus frogs. You can find shady spots in the Forest, the orchard, or enjoy the view from the clearing. The irrigation ditch offers fun for dogs and ambient sounds. This is a working farm, and we are often in the greenhouse and garden. Leashes dogs only to protect wildlife and chickens! You’re likely to see deer, raccoons, foxes, hawks, hummingbirds, and maybe a skunk!

Tent Site

My dog and I had a great time at Lorena's farm. This was my first time in the area and I was blown away by the views from the site. I kept my dog on a long lead and she had plenty of space to sniff and explore. The tent pad was pretty much exactly the right size for my 2 person tent. Loved the propane fire pit and fresh eggs as extra touches!

Tent Site

This was such a lovely spot to stay! Private, wonderful views! Everything we needed was available and the the propane fire pit was a bonus! (I recommend). Closer to Ignacio than Durango for groceries, and it really gave us the feel of more remote camping when we didn’t have the time to make it happen. A beautiful spot!

Recommended Tent Site

Lorena communicated well and was helpful with all of our questions. The campsite was private, at the back end of the property. It has a nice, level, campsite pad. It's conveniently located to explore the surrounding area. Recommended!

Great camping spot

Tent pad was great we loved it so much we stayed two nights, the grill was excellent and place was clean, the owner and farm caretaker were great made your stay welcoming. Will be back again soon

Tent Site

The tent site was amazing. It was peaceful, with some farm animals nearby that was a very cool touch. The host was very nice and accommodating for our three tents. Its has been my favorite campsite for our Colorado trip.
