We’ve spent plenty of nights in the canyon but this trip was one of our favorites. The property is amazing. We got lucky with leaves changing and a supermoon! The site has everything you would need. We will definitely be back.

Great little mining camp 🏕️
Has pit toilet, gravity fed hot showers, cooking area w some supplies. Tent area next to river. Shaded area to stay out of rain if any. Joe gave a great tour when I arrived. I enjoyed the solitude of my stay. Parking area you can hear road noise but enough foliage you can’t see the other part of the camp from the road. Easy directions. No cell service. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful
Secluded site with sounds of the stream only. Very nice to have a Tupperware bin filled with paper plates/ cups and towels, along with plenty of firewood. The fresh drinking water was super nice to have as well. Joe was communicative and friendly, greeted us on site to make sure we were all set. Clean outhouse. Shower looked nice but we didn’t end up using it. Off the beaten path, but easy to access, felt safe.

Very special spot! ❤️
Beautiful spot! Joe was very accommodating- he provides everything you could ask for camping, including the most beautiful composting outhouse. I only wish we had more time to spend on the property- got in after dark - Joe kindly came down to greet us! My bf is convinced he’s actually Dustin Hoffman but jury is still out on that one 🧐Absolutely recommend!

The most gorgeous piece of land!! A perfect slice of heaven. Joe was very nice, the campsite was better than hoped, for, with tables, shade chairs, and a wonderful tent, camping area as well. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed the creek which was flowing beautifully, and they had the absolute best time ever.

The place is amazing, quiet with all the amenities. We camped in our camper, but ended up using the toilet and shower onsite. Joe was an excellent host, very friendly, but considerate of campers.
