Wonderful farm camping with rv/tent
Our family just spent a wonderful weekend in Diane & Tom's farm, our kids refused to leave and asked for more camping nights in this farm! Camping in this farm is so convenient that you got not only bathroom, kitchen(to wash dishes), but also hot shower available. Diane gave us a very nice tour to her farm, showing us how their farm works, and introduced their animals(all of them have names!). They're very kind and willing to answer any questions according to running a farm(this is very important to the visitors who dream to homestead, like us), they're also very supportive and willing to help if you need some help. They're just like families, not only a host, they'll share some their wonderful fresh goat milk if you'd like to try. We ask to sign up for our share to get continuous goat milk after we got taste of it, we didn't expect that because we never thought that goat milk would taste so good (even better than cow milk), and with all the benefits which row milk provide. Just a sweet accident!
We spent couple hours to just browsing the beautiful stars during the night, just like the experiences you'll get from national park campgrounds, but very peaceful and private without crowded accompanies. Very suitable for families or friends gathering! We also hike in their 35-acre farm with mature pine trees, this stay is all-in-one combo package for family activities, just wonderful !
Every family member in our household feel enrich in this stay, and start to plan next visit already while we leave this farm. We really look forward to meet baby goats coming up next month and baby alpaca coming up the end of July!
We had an amazing time meeting the goats, chickens and alpacas! Two baby goats were born and we got to hold them. The location was easy to find and not too far off the beaten path. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
What can I say Tom and Diane (owners) where amazing. Easy directions and amazing property, we were meet by Tom he gave us a quick overview of the property then I short walk to meet Diane and the rest of the residents ( Alpacas and Goats) which was awesome and our kids loved it! Great for families it was like we had a private petting zoo and being the first camp out of the season I forgot a few thing and Tom was right there to help us out. Definitely recommend to anyone that is considering visiting and we will also be back.
Blissful with babies
A great weekend getaway from anywhere in the Front Range or as a stop for travellers. Diane and Tom were wonderful hosts - just the right balance of friendly, informative attention and and space to enjoy the property in our own. I loved that we were free to mingle with the animals any time we wanted, and it was a special treat to cuddle the baby goats. The property was level and the water delicious. Guests can use the nicest barn bathroom you'll ever see. You'll probably need an extension cord for power as well as adaptor for a standard receptacle/outlet for 20 amp power by the barn. We will definitely be back for more country quiet.
