Absolute BEST Stargazing
We had a blast at campsite CEE! The kids explored, we built a campfire, watched an amazing sunset and stargazed. We will 100% be back again.

Beautiful views in a secluded spot
This was a great, secluded spot to spend the night before heading to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Fantastic views both east and west. Easy to find with John’s directions.

Desert Campsite on a Private Ranch!
With a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains from the center of the San Louis Valley, John's three campsites on his ranch provided the privacy we hoped for to be able to enjoy a peaceful night under the stars. Less than a half an hour from both Alamosa and Dunes National Park, we were able to take day trips to do and see everything we wanted to.

Lovely
It was wonderful! It was exactly what John described and was perfect for what we needed - which was an isolated campground close to the sand dunes! It is clearly marked and had no problem finding the location with the pin points. Would recommend the stay to anyone!

Not worth 35$
Overall, we had a nice time camping at this spot. However, it is DEFINITELY not worth 35$. The signs were washed off so determining which site was which, was challenging. Additionally, the bench/fire pit needs updating for the price. Neighbors were loud at 2 AM and sound traveled well

Great spot to camp for the Great Sand Dunes and surrounding area. Easy to get to and fantastic views! Site 1 was very spacious. Loved not having any close neighbors.
