Karen and Dave had a great place to camp with a picnic table! Their alpacas were very fun to watch and interact with. Our hosts were very friendly, communicative and inviting! They had games available for use and a snack/drink section available for purchase. Their home is easy to find and not far from the city in either direction. We really enjoyed our time on their land and loved watching the stars!

Dave and Karen were super welcoming hosts of their lovely homestead. Happy free-range chickens greeted me, and Dave and Karen let me join feeding time with the alpacas (and their babies!). The high level of care and consideration Dave and Karen provide was lovely to experience. Nice stargazing as well!
Great place to stay! The hosts are very nice and gave a great tour of the property. They also have a fridge stocked with snacks as well as some games and books, which was a nice little touch. The farm is in a good location, as there are some small towns nearby and it is not too far from Denver. We would highly recommend staying here...it was one of the highlights of our trip!
This was by far the best HipCamp we ever stayed at:)) Owners Karen and Dave were so awesome, and their little farm of Alpacas, chickens, dogs, were awesome:)) My husband booked the night because he knew I love Alpacas and it turned out to be the best time ever. We even ended up with eggs from the chickens and I bought an Alpaca beanie for myself (super cute). Karen and Dave answered all my questions about the Alpacas, I loved and learned so much:)) Property is beautiful, clean, with an awesome sunset/ full moon evening. Definitely will be going back:))
Dave and Karen were incredible hosts! The communication was excellent and getting settled was easy! Their property was gorgeous… the views are stunning (be sure to watch the sunset, stay up late to view stars with little light pollution and wake up early for the sunrise!!). The alpacas, chickens and pups are the best!! Karen and Dave spent over and hour with us sharing about their journey to raising alpacas and answering any and all questions we had!
We were sad to leave and I can definitely see going back. I highly recommend purchasing the package of alpaca dryer balls, homemade jam and soap! My daughter also bought farm fresh eggs! So yummy!!
Additionally, I wanted to say how kind this family is. As it turns out, I dropped my debit card on heir property. They reached out to let me know they had it (what a relief!!) so that I could grab it from them.
For a first hipcamp experience, it was truly a memorable one! Don’t hesitate to stay here! The location looks out of the way, but is the most gorgeous drive to both Denver and Colorado Springs!!
I have stayed at plenty of spots before and I can say this one was by far my favorite! Karen was amazing and gave a tour of the alpaca farm - it was such a warm welcome. She answered any questions we had and let us know of everything that we needed to make our stay great! It really was a wonderful stay and if you’re considering staying here- do it!
Great spot! The hosts were very nice and the alpacas are adorable
Symphony Fibers property, Dave, Karen, their two loving and protective dogs, the alpacas and chickens made our last minute camping trip so memorable! As an added bonus 3 baby alpacas were born the day we were there. Beautiful area and so much fun to step into another lifestyle for a day! Highly recommend. the porta potty was also the cleanest one I have ever been in ;)
