Enchanted Canyon is a beautiful Pine and Aspen filled canyon with a creek meandering through. and the canyon walls rising beautifully on all sides calling to be climbed and explored. Situated 25 minutes from downtown Boulder, 45 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park, 10 minutes from Brainard Lake Recreation area, 20 minutes from Nederland and just generally surrounded on all sides by a plethora of amazing hikes and situations. This is the sacred land of the Arapaho. This site is for tent camping. It's big enough for plenty of stuff but you will have to walk with it across a short bridge to the campsite. I am allowing instant booking for this site but keep in mind I am often out of signal range so if you book last minute I may not be able to answer your questions in time. The directions are both in the tab marked "my trips" and you should receive and email with them also.

This is a cute little place just off the road- far enough into the mountains to feel like a getaway but close enough to Denver. It has tons of hiking options around it! Also the Aspens are soooo beautiful in this location. It’s a great camping spot to stop and stay at if you’re on the way to Utah or somewhere else further into the Rockies or for a while weekend of camping. It was a great find!
The campground is beautiful, is right next to a paved road, so access is super easy. You have to walk 100 feet or so from the parking to the campground. You can hear the cars driving by, but very low traffic. No big deal. Campground is under the trees, so you have shade all day long, however, there are no views, like the name of the place says, you are in a canyon. Because of the proximity to the creek and humidity, you will likely encounter mosquitoes, bring repellent. Overall, awesome place.
Camping with a pup
Being by the creek was beautiful. The site was clean and my dog had a great time running through the creek and around the trees! You can hear the occasional car, but it wasn’t loud or bothersome at all. There are a couple other sites nearby. With everyone being respectful, it still feels like being unplugged and away from crowds. Don’t forget bug spray!
The campsite was easy to find, and beyond cute and cozy.
We stayed at the enchanted canyon site, and it really did feel so enchanting. Watching the sunrise in the aspens will be something I never forget. Thank you Shawna for being so hospitable and friendly, I definitely want to camp here again!
