Located perfectly between Boulder, Nederland, and Rocky Mountain National Park, and very close to other stunning hikes, this spot is a great landing pad to have easy access to some of the most beautiful places in the Rockies as well as offering it's own breathtaking scenery. This land is the sacred land of the Arapaho tribe. Chief Niwot and his tribe spent winters here. It is a very special place. The property is a mile long so there is plenty of space with the tent sites being 1/2 mile from the yurt and separate entries for each. There are currently 2 tents sites available, a bell tent, and a yurt.

Creekside Yurtopia
Yur in the right place!
If you want to be close to amenities in Boulder while feeling like you're inaccessible to anyone trying to reach you in the mountains this is the perfect location for you. I camped with 3 other people in the yurt in the middle of October and the coldest it got was 28 degrees, but the heater was great and there were plenty of blankets to keep us all warm with our sleeping bags. The yurt was big enough for everyone to feel spread out and there's something special about the circular space that made us feel more connected. The yurt was close to the road so it was easy to pack in and pack out. That being said if you're a light sleeper, it is close to the road and might not be for you. Shawn quickly responds to any messages you send and is an amazing host! We definitely can't wait to come back and experience more of the beautiful mountainside and see the progression of this hip camp. Good luck with everything Shawn, and thank you for opening up such a beautiful space for people to enjoy!

Enchanted Canyon
Cool camping
Lovely place, in the heart of the forest, close to the creek. Beautiful place to be connected to the nature, without electricity, water or signals. The place is prepared to welcome tent and fire for the camping.

Canyonland Bliss
This was a great campsite, it was clean and had great views, best of all, we had a moose walk through the campsite area in the early morning! Shawn was very communicative and helpful. Well worth the trip!

ILLEGAL SITE
ILLEGAL SITE. Fire and land management offices of Boulder County came and said while they wouldn’t be pressing charges on us, we weren’t there legally. ALSO be prepared to have headlights flashing by and loud trucks passing close by all night long. ALSO sacrificed an entire evening trying to help another camper access the yurt the had rented on the same property, but the host gave them the incorrect lock combination, and they had to find alternate accommodations. All of this plus the host’s hostile responses made us feel like they had expected us to lie or refuse to talk to authorities.

ILLEGAL SITE
ILLEGAL SITE. The Boulder county officials (fire and land management offices) came and told us while they wouldn’t be pressing charges on us, we were participating in an illegal operation and should leave. They claim to own the property, but are not in compliance with county law, and the place is being monitored.
