Denver wknd escape
Just a short trip from Denver, this is the perfect place to let your pups run with ample space and beautiful views. A-frame was clean & very well insulated. Doors have hooks to hang jackets & or space heater. Clean bathroom accessible to several A-frames, well lit spaces with motion sensors aimed not to harass other A-frames. Rick was very helpful, left several propane tanks, clearly cares about the experience provided—and the great instructions lead you exactly where you need to go! Don’t think twice!
Our stay here was great — Rick was very prompt and helpful with all communication. The layout of the camp was perfect and very convenient to get down to Idaho Springs. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here many more times!
Gorgeous spot and beautiful little cabins! We had a great time there. We made it to cabin 1 just fine in a Toyota Prius C in dry conditions, but I would have been nervous if the road was wet. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Bright stars, cozy sleeps
This was a great little spot, very cozy and warms up in the shelter nicely at night. Well built! Great to have a deck to chill on too. The port-a-potty was very clean and had the hand sani filled - awesome. The road noise was more than I anticipated but the stars at night were bright and beautiful through the tree tops.
Great place, hate the spam
It was a wonderful experience with a beautiful view. Highly recommend this stay for the price. However, I hate all the spam messages I have received since my stay asking me to rate the place.
Cozy tiny A-frame that's convenient and comes with a gas grill and a couple of chairs. We had the "big unit" at site #1, which I think was 6' x 12'. We fit with 2 people, a dog + XL dog bed and our stuff. Comfortable and would do it again, but I highly recommend arriving during daylight. Would have been much more difficult if we had arrived after dark to navigate the dirt/gravel/rock road. You can hear the highway from the site, but it's not too bad and I didn't hear anything from inside the A-frame with the door shut. Bathrooms are port-o-potty, but at least it was one of the cleanest port-o-potties I've seem in a while.
