We really enjoyed our stay! The little cabin was so cute and cozy and the facilities were great. One thing to note is that there are no forks in the kitchen other than that we highly recommend staying at the rustic sheep herder cabin.

A very comfortable and well-appointed little traveling house, perfect for cool early October nights. The solar lights worked great, and the patio has a nice view of Sleeping Ute and Mesa Verde. Sandhill cranes flew right overhead both evenings.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rustic Sheep Cabin. The cabin is very cute and cozy!! I would however recommend installing locks for the top/bottom door, it was a little unsettling as a single mom to have a door that didn’t lock with construction workers staying at the site (and people in general). Overall, great little cabin with a fire pit, chairs, and path that is lit up.

The location of this place is really nice, we used it as a “home base” to go to many different spots. We went to Telluride, Mesa verde, and the McPhee reservoir. Cortez and Dolores and within like 5-10 miles of this place and both had great restaurants to eat at. The wagon itself is super cute, and fun! A little warm in the day but completely comfortable in the evening/night. The clubhouse had actual showers you can use, which was awesome!

Amazing spot and more private feeling than you'd think! They were super responsive and helpful. The club house is also such a great perk! Cabin was spacious and clean and we had the best time!

The place is incredibly cozy, like a nice warm hug after a long day. It’s tucked away and private without being too far from amenities like bathroom, shower, etc. There’s a nice little side area for hanging out, with a fire pit, lounge chairs, and a picnic table. As the listing says, no more than two can fit comfortably. I will say that it was pretty hot in there (I went early July). I wouldn’t want anyone to bank on being able to leave their dog inside while they go out and adventure bc it was too hot during the day (I think it does mention that pets need to be supervised). The host mentioned they are thinking about getting a cooling system in there, so hopefully that happens. It was very comfortable and cool in the evening once the sun went down, and the side yard was in the shade and was nice and cool while I waited for the sun to go down. I definitely recommend staying here! It was a blast.
