Primitive camping right on the creek with colorful sunset views and private fishing. If you do not mind having a few neighbors, this is the place for you! This is one of 2 listings for our shared site. How many neighbors you’ll have will vary depending on the group size of the other party as we have 2 listings for this shared camp area. Could be 2 people, could be 10, though we do not get a ton of groups that large, just know this is a shared camp area. Some campers book both shared sites and have the entire area to themselves. (that is, if both are available during your dates of stay.) Please read entire listing as it will answer most questions. Please also note the check-in process as the GPS pin does not reflect accurately due to the actual site not having its own unique address. Feel free to place your tent/camper as close to the water as you wish. The sound of water flowing and peaceful sunsets over the Flat Tops landscape is what campers love the most here. RATE: Nightly fee is $35 for 2 people. Additional persons are $15 per night per person. Children under 12 are free. You’ll feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere yet less than 2 miles from a Grocery Store, Liquor Store, Patio Bar, 24 Hour 50’s Diner all located downtown Yampa. ***Also, it is Colorado and it is camping, so the MOSQUITOS and HORSE FLYS can be thick at times and they like fresh blood. All campers will want to make sure they have bug spray on BEFORE they start setting up their camp or you WILL get bit. We recommend DEET as it works the best, also please protect your animals as they like them PLEASE NOTE OUR CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS: all campers must call us -not message us on the app, but call us on the telephone number we provide at booking to notify us when you are 1-2 hours out so we can meet you in Yampa (less than 2 miles from your site) and personally take you to your site to ensure you do not get lost. Late evening check-in is okay as long as it is communicated to us. *THOSE WHO HAVE DOGS****due to the fact this is a shared area and not one of our private sites, dogs must remain in your own site. This will ensure no dog fights and no neighbors being bothered by other dogs running free. CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel at least 3 days before your check in day you’ll receive a refund (minus Hipcamp fees).
