We loved Black Burro Ranch! The site was absolutely lovely and so well maintained. Great mountain views, particularly for sunrise. Directions were clear, site was safe. Loved the stargazing chairs! The outhouse and showers were clean. We would absolutely stay again!!
Wonderful hostess..amazing sunrises
Black Burro Ranch is a little slice of heaven!
Rene is a wonderful hostess who has thought of everything! The camp spot is a little garden area away from the main house with sage and juniper growing throughout. Lounge chairs and tables are available for use. The amenities worked out perfectly for us. The solar showers were nice and warm and the outhouse didn’t smell at all (uses WAG bag system…major plus!)
We got to see amazing sunrises!
Rene came to meet us and shared some of her knowledge of the area and made recommendations. Communication with Rene and directions to her place were excellent!
I so hope we get to come back sometime! Highly recommend Black Burro Ranch! Thanks again for a lovely stay!
We absolutely loved our stay with René! What a beautiful, peaceful place. We only spent on night on our roadtrip but loved the grounds. The Wag Bag is a snap to use. René is so lovely and welcoming - we would happily recommend her place to others and would love to come back!
Campsite was very well setup and private. There was a bathroom, water, soap, and lots of seats around the campsite. Campsite also had plenty of trees which was nice to let us get out of the heat and rain. René and Tom (hosts) were also extremely friendly and helpful.
