Jim and Olga were excellent hosts. Cabin and property were both extremely beautiful.
Loved the hospitality from beginning to end. If you read this, thank you both. Nice accommodations in a peaceful setting. They live on property so were very prompt with a minor maintenance issue. Outhouse but shower sink and mirrors etc in indoor bathroom. Very Happy with our choice.
This retreat is exactly what everyone needs to get away from civilization and responsibilities. Everything at Asha’s retreat was absolutely perfect, especially with how welcoming and helpful the hosts, Olga, Jim, and their adorable dog Maya were. They all greeted us with friendly smiles and asked if there was anything they could do for us. Our kid was absolutely delighted to befriend Maya who also greeted us with a wagging tail and smiling face that only a golden retriever could have. The cabin was spacious but cozy in a way that only a home with a loving family can provide. They even allowed us to set up a tent next to the cabin (with a warning of bears and mountain lions) so our kid could have a true camping experience. On our second day there, they provided us with a pond/waterfall area that we could hike to (a 15 minutes drive and 15 minute hike) which was absolutely gorgeous. Although the water was freezing, it was refreshing and there was a place to jump off into the water about 10-15 feet high. Depending on the water level, it is an absolute blast to jump into- and if you’re not into heights, it’s still really fun to cheer people on when they’re jumping. This was one of the best times we’ve had all summer and are planning on coming back very soon. Although the goodbye was bittersweet (our kid was heartbroken saying goodbye to Maya), we genuinely had a lot of fun, leaving memories to last a lifetime.

Our family had a great time. The cabin was spacious and comfortable. Very relaxing!
A beautiful spot in a wonderful location. Thr accommodations were comfy, clean, and had everything we needed!
This little cabin is so cozy and a lot bigger than it seems in the photos. There are two different sleeping lofts and a full kitchen. Olga and her husband (I forget his name) were extremely nice and met us when we arrived. And maya the dog is so cute
Beautiful property with beautiful, clean cabin. Everything including linens, towels, soap, dishes, and cooking supplies provided. Olga, her husband, and Maya, the beautiful golden retriever, were amazing hosts!

Hi Patricia! It was very nice to meet you and we hope to heard from you and your husband again!
Asha’s place is a peaceful retreat- with great access to the Florissant National Monument. We loved the hummingbird feeder and visits from their sweet golden retriever.

We can't ask for better guests. You guys were the first hipcampers for us and the experience was very nice. We appreciate you!
