Stay here, Stay here, Stay here!!!!! We booked the tent site which we were so excited about but they accidentally overbooked so they upgraded us to a lodge room for FREE!! which after a 15 hour drive was the greatest thing ever. The staff is so nice and friendly and the best part is the history of the property!!!
Great place with everything you need. Camping on a flat surface, bathrooms, a shower, creek, indoor lounge if you want it, beer on tap, etc. They even had WiFi to help us continue planning our trip.
Very cool place. Inside of a canyon and the views are beautiful. The tent sites are just wooden platforms a little above the rest of the site. They can be a tad loud at night if your tentmate is stomping around but otherwise very convenient. The main part of the lodge (there are mostly non-tent sites there) has a multiple bathrooms, showers, indoor workspace, and a bar. So it's pretty convenient, as camping goes.
Lovely + lively
A lovely and lively spot! Tucked into the mountain this cute little spot was perfect for both tent and car camping. The bathrooms were functional. Couldn't find a place for potable water fill up but honestly it was such a cute spot to rest, have a cocktail and dip your feet in the creek. Absolutely adore it! The man at check-in was super chill and kind. Defo recommend this spot!
Daytime = happy hike 2 campsite
Such a beautiful campsite!! (I should of realized that since the tent site was in the mountains it would be a hike / have to leave the car about a quarter mile away…and the trail leading to the tent site is not lit up / easy to do in the dark..but that was MY fault) it was so worth it once we were up to the site - very flat and and just so beautiful. Wish that A-lodge honored their own quiet hours (says it starts at 10pm, but there was a loud DJ playing his music at the office until 11) but other than that it was great
Good location, not far from Boulder or Denver. Really nice trail on location that can either be a long or short hike depending on when you want to come down the mountain. Really well kept area, lots of friendly people. Would recommend if you are looking for camping that’s got some amenities to it.
