Just 15 minutes north of Cortez and 1/2 mile off Hwy 491, we offer convenience yet the peace and solitude of the country. All our sites are pull thru and offer views of the San Juan Mountains, Sleeping Ute Mountain and Mesa Verde. Also visible in the distance is Lizard Head Pass. Visit Mesa Verde, Canyon of the Ancients, Lowery Ruins, Anasazi Heritage Center and Hovenweep. They are all within easy driving distance.Take advantage of the many recreational activities offered in the area, hiking, fishing, and off roading. We are only 15 minutes from McFee Reservoir. Use this as your base camp to visit Anasazi ruins, National Parks and Monuments and other outdoor activities.  Going north on Hwy 491 take a right on Road 19 just past mile marker 40.  Go 1/2 mile and turn left at the sign.  From the north on Hwy 491, take the first left after mile marker 41.

Very quiet and not far at all from the things I wanted to see!!!

This is a great place to boondock. No neighbors, lots of space, good scenery and best of all felt safe.
