Great camp site, all you could need. About 25 miles from yosemite entrance, 1.5 hours total to yosemite valley. Beautiful spot with shade, bathroom and water. Would highly reccomend thanks to Edward's hospitality!

We had a great experience during our visit and it is very quiet. Unfortunately the sites are on a hill and very unlevel so we had to use things to prop up our table legs to keep things from sliding off and found that we slid downward in our tent as we slept. The sites are also in a meadow do there were a lot of mosquitos no matter what we did to repel them.
They do have goats on the property so be aware that you will need to put chairs and stuff away when you are leaving or they will climb in them and chew on anything they get their hooves on. They didnt bother us much until the last day when the big one jumped on our table while we were eating and accidentally kicked my daughter and knocked food off and got into everything as we tried to pack up. The owner will put them away if you ask but we didnt bother since we were about to head out anyways and it would have taken longer to get them herded and away anyways. They were very friendly though.
The bathroom is clean and having potable water on site was very handy.

Great location, beautiful property and the campsites were very clean as was the bathroom.

Good campground, the bathroom and water spigot made it above average. The ground is a bit hard, making it difficult to stake your tent. There was some noise in the night, some kids being a tad loud but otherwise the stay was quite pleasant.
1.5 hour drive to the Yosemite Valley mind you, so 24 miles is only to the entrance. The one downside was that it was still far.
Upside (a lot): the host wasn’t there to meet us or greet us which I didn’t mind but the neighbors, Inga and Louis were amazing and so friendly and helped us meet and befriend their goats (Drina (the goat milk maker), Cookie, Willow and forgot the other third small dwarf goat’s name. They were a HOOT and became our camp friends over the 3 days we spent. Friendly, hospitable and so peaceful here with the starry night and band of coyotes howling throughout the night.
The toilet was compost and absolutely so clean. Make sure to close the door so Drina the goat doesn’t come and explore and maybe eat your compost leaves haha.
Camp 2 can just fit 2 tents but has lovely shade and more going on than camp 1 which is out in the open. A picnic table at each, potable water by the bathroom.
We had the best unexpected time with our camp friends and the host’s neighbors who we interacted with the most. They were the highlight of our trip outside of Yosemite.
Come here if you want to have a good time with the goats, but it is not close to YNP as it seems. Felt like I was a little deceptive to say “24 miles to the park.”
Easy to follow instructions to get to this Airbnb.

Ed’s place is fantastic!
Make sure to read the specific instructions to get to the property provided by Ed to avoid disturbing neighbors (they’re very specific and easy to follow, GPS doesn’t always take you directly there-although very close).
We stayed at site #1, it has a little fire pit and a picnic table with shade. The area on site 1 has a little more flat ground to set up the tents than site 2, but site 2 has more shade.
Ed has a compost toilet, a cold shower, and a running tap water in the back of the bathroom shed great for washing dishes and hands (and the water is great for drinking as well).
Ed greeted us when we got there, and was kind enough to provide us with a map of Yosemite and trail suggestions (which we’re glad we followed). Although his home is very close by, he gives you your space for privacy your entire stay. The stars at night are crazy beautiful here, and you can hear a pack of coyotes howling in the distance at night (so cool!). It’s about a 30 minute drive from Yosemite South entrance. Once you’re in the park, it’s about another hour drive if you want to get to Yosemite Valley area. Although it feels like you’re far from civilization, you have the convenience of major stores ~15 min away from his property (between the park and his place, no detours needed). We’re so happy we found this little gem, thank you Ed for your hospitality!
Great stay! Location is perfect for yosemite and the bathroom is a great touch. Follow the directions exactly and you’ll be there in no time
Had a nice night at our campsite - only downside was there wasn't a ton of flat areas to pitch a tent on. The bathroom was nice and clean and the property was nestled away and quiet. Also, the directions are pretty hard to follow, especially at night - just go through three to four gates following the main driveway and you'll eventually see the hipcamp sign on the left.
Our stay here was perfect, exactly what we were looking for. Something easy, quiet, and close to Yosemite. The host was very friendly, great with communication and answered all questions I had before booking.
We did a weekend trip with 3 of us and each had a tent. The space (site 2) was just the right size for us. We weren't there during the day but had we been there to take advantage of the full space it would’ve been perfect for hanging around. The toilet was clean and the host kept the toilet paper stocked. We didn’t use the shower but absolutely felt comfortable with it if we had stayed longer.
If you’re considering booking here please go ahead and do it.
