PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PROPERTY. *There is a sneaky question that you must send the answer to with your request. We do this to ensure you have read through the details we provide and that there are no false expectations about what we offer.*

COVID-19: AS OF 9/8/21 WE REQUIRE A TEXTED PHOTO TO VERIFY FULL VACCINATION FOR EACH PERSON IN YOUR PARTY PRIOR TO ACCEPTING YOUR REQUEST.

Reservations are required to drive into Yosemite through September 30, 2021. Some services and facilities are limited, and shuttles are not operating.

Geraldine is a level spot across from Ferretti Farm's cottage that is right along the driveway so perfectly suited for an RV. If you are planning to tent camp, consider that other campers may be arriving late after a day in the park and could be driving past this site. It is not well suited for more than one tent placed between your vehicle and the far side of the site to offer a bit more privacy or an RV.

***Please be aware that if you choose to book this site for tent camping we will not offer a refund based on feeling that you didn't have enough privacy or quiet. Thanks!***

Ferretti Farm is a lovely place to relax under the same trees and stars that are found in Yosemite National Park that is nestled in downtown Groveland. The park entrance is just 26 miles away!

COVID-19 - While we offer soap, hot water, and disinfectant spray we trust that our campers are taking precautions to stay safe and will practice social distancing while staying with us. We do not have anything marked, as we trust that we all are aware of how far 6 feet apart is.  We are not able to clean our bathroom after each guest and ask each camper to clean up before and after themselves to ensure their own safety.

WHAT WE ARE:

We are a Hipcamp that caters to SELF-SUFFICIENT campers who have experience and realize that this is a step above what camping REALLY means. If you need a camp host available at all times, this is not the Hipcamp for you, as our host lives on-site and keeps things clean and functioning, but is not always there. We are a Hipcamp that offers our guests a clean, hot shower and two indoor toilets. Pretty rad, right?! We are people who are utilizing a very old, funky mobile home to make some money and pay off our land while living in the shabby chic cottage on site. We are a peaceful place in historic downtown Groveland to enjoy a glamping experience in one of our beautiful, canvas tents,  our fully equipped 18 foot RV,  in your own tent, in our cozy bedroom in the mobile, or in your RV under the same pines and oaks that fill Yosemite National Park. We are a new venture on a property that has been mistreated for years and we are loving it back to health on a very limited budget. We are a place that has a super cool, vintage, outdoor kitchen with hot water & cold water, a 1950 Wedgewood gas range with four burners, a bar with 4 stools and an umbrella, and a small propane bbq.

***BRING YOUR OWN COOK/SERVING/DRINKWARE***

We are a 3-5 minute walk from the public transit system into Yosemite. Check out YARTS dot com online for schedules. WE ARE AN AWESOME PLACE TO BE!!!

WHAT WE ARE NOT:

We are not a high-end, generously funded campground with brand new furniture, a pristine campfire ring, manicured sites, and marble showers. (Although, we are people who love to visit those places!) Please let me know you've read this far by telling me how many smokers are in your group when you send your booking request. We are not associated with Yosemite National Park and, therefore do not have up to the minute details about what they require or have going on. You can find this information on the National Parks website. We are not available at all times to answer questions about each site's specifics but have taken a great deal of time putting all of the information into the platform.

We ask our campers to read up!

Less spacious than the picture, but really we just needed a place to rest after across-multiple-state driving and I really appreciated how quickly the folks running the place responded when I needed to make a last minute reservation. We went from looking at maybe another hour of driving to just being able to get some sleep! It was a relief to land somewhere quiet with good-enough restrooms and running water (including a kitchen sink) for cooking/cleaning.

Awesome! We stayed for three nights and it was just what we were looking for - a peaceful little spot right outside Yosemite where we can enjoy nature and get some solid sleep in to recharge for the next day. Our campsite was flat & clear, the facilities on site were clean, and all the information we needed was given up front without even needing to ask. Thank you again Roni Lynn!

Bummed we didn’t get to run into Roni or climb the Nose on El Capitan in under 2 hours but this place is a super cozy niche on a hill above Groveland (town is very nice too) and just an hour outside of Yosemite. Accommodations are very nice with indoor shower and bathroom and a nice living room as well. Hopefully we will be back!! Roni your place is sweet!

We pulled our RV trailer in; 10 min and a leveling block later we were sitting around a tree stump table in peaceful quiet.

If you’re coming with an RV this is boondocking with the equivalent of a bunk house with bathrooms, a shower, running hot & cold water, and an outdoor kitchen. Perfect!

Hi Allison, I'm curious why you have marked that you have mixed reviews of our site. It would be very helpful to know. If this was done in error, would you please change it to a recommendation? Thanks RL
