I live here a month out of each year and love it so thought I could share the beauty/ located in a wine pocket and close to Morgan Hill. The camping spot is very secluded there is no bathroom so you must be self-contained. Apparently I have had a complaint about my gates entering onto my property. I have 16’ gates that are automatic, I personally have a 35’ gooseneck toy hauler and am fully capable of pulling onto the property. If you don’t think you can maneuver between 16’ gates then maybe this is not the spot for you. Max size 35’

Great location! Pretty property! But very bad listing. It says up to 60' reading previous reviews from someone with 40' complaining about it. We had 42' and it took us 1 hour back and fourth trying different approaches and the yard is not height forgiving with the branches and wires hanging. The saloon outdoor seating was nice. But the inside of it was more like a storage shed with mess everywhere.
It could be a great place for smaller RVs. However, I would yourself the trouble if youre 40' or bigger.
Nice place, malfunctioning gate.
The location and the site were great. The host has tenants to welcome you to the property. We ran into a ton of traffic and arrived late in the evening, in the dark. We had not received the gate code, and the tenant came out and told me the code. I had to enter the code, get back into my vehicle, and turn in the narrow gate. As I was driving in (no turning back) she said the gate might close on my vehicle, and it did. I hadn't even started to pull the trailer through. When I was leaving she kept the gate open so I would have plenty of time to go through. I am a VERY good driver with my trailer. I back up with no problems, and regularly drive my 3 horse trailer in many tight spaces. At that point there was nothing I could do but continue our stay and deal with the damage when I got home (destroyed mirror, passenger door and fender). I am still trying to work out the payment for the damage with the owner. This issue of her malfunctioning gate that does not sense when a vehicle is in the way or stay open long enough to allow passage (she didn't have the remote on her she said) is NOT my issue. I should not have to pay for this or an increased insurance rate. Her correspondence so far has been hostile and dismissive - as if the other positive reviews negate the issue with her gate. There's a first time for everything. I shouldn't have to pay the price.
We just had one night but will stay for longer next time. Peaceful and convenient. Great backroads for bicycling. Everything worked, gate and campsite setup is nice and everything needed for full hookups is really handy. Want to come back in late winter for the creek and flower season.
We were traveling through the area and loved the privacy and location. Friendly dogs visited us. The birds and owls were wonderful sounds. Had some bees visit while outside cooking. Keep meat closed up. Has hookups and water.

We greatly enjoyed our stay with our travel trailer. The property is beautiful, quiet, and secluded. In addition to the amenities -- hookups, picnic table, barbecue, and comfy hammock -- the property has a wonderful antique character with the abandoned saloon, old truck, structures and vintage equipment throughout. Rachel met us, was super helpful and gave us a tour of the saloon and her favorite places to hike. We got to meet Lori, who was extremely hospitable and gave us info of a nearby winery event. We hiked at the local Uvas reservoir but mostly enjoyed kicking back at the camp site.

Full hookup hidden gem in a great location.
Spending the night at Lori's camp pace was very special. Ye Old Saloon is like a time capsule you can enter just steps off your RV. The residents at the lot (both humans and dogs) were very friendly. Being the only camper is also a nice experience.
Nice spot that was the perfect 1 night get away from us. Fairy easy to back into spot (29 ft trailer). We were greeted by Rachael who was very pleasant and helpful. We would love to go back.
We loved staying at Ye Olde Saloon! We arrived on a pleasantly warm evening and enjoyed relaxing at the outdoor table before dinner. It was extremely quiet, and we got a great night of sleep.
The next morning we had a peaceful breakfast shaded by the trees, and before you know it, it was time to go.
Unfortunately, the site was only available for one night, so we were forced to move on. We can’t wait to go back.

Hi Mike thank you for your message and I apologize had somebody called me I could have walked you through the front gate which is large and 32 feet wide I’ve had some eyes drive onto my property it’s just a separate entrance we generally do not have any issues therefore I did not thanks in advance to let you know. I will make sure to update the listing and you’re correct the inside of the saloon is original I don’t intend for people to be able to use it it’s a historic landmark I do hope to be able to renovate it but it’s a long process with the city. I will be sure to update the listing
