Woods by the Sea Ashram

My husband and I wanted to have a little private Mendocino getaway and this small cabin was a great way to relax and get out of the city lights! My favorite touch was the redwood outdoor shower, haven't stopped talking about it and how cool and zen it was to shower all while looking at the trees!

I almost don't want to share how awesome this place is, but the pictures don't do it justice. It's a place that has had a ton of love put into it. My wife and I had a magical anniversary weekend there.

Nicole's cabin was so cozy and the perfect getaway for the weekend. It was easy to find and she was very responsive to all our questions. The fireplace and outdoor shower with hot water were the highlights! For the price, wish a few more items were included like firewood, trash takeout, and basic kitchen utensils. We brought everything we needed for the weekend and it was a great time!

Overall we had a great time here. The host was very responsive and the directions to find it were spot on. Everything in the cabin was as described. Our only comment for future guests would be that this place is pretty bare bones like the listing says. Outdoor shower, wood stove for heating... nicer places can be had in town for cheaper, but dont have the wonderful vibes in the woods that this place does.

This cabin was so beautiful. Having redwoods as your backyard made for a magical time here. The bed was cozy and comfy, the fire burning stove was a delight. Gorgeous spot to stay when visiting Mendocino.

Nicole's cabin was the perfect place for our long weekend! The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the cabin was so comfortable and cozy. Nicole made sure we had plenty of firewood and was very quick to respond to messages. The outdoor shower was so relaxing and perfect after a long day of hiking. The location is far enough out to be quiet and peaceful, and yet close enough to wonderful restaurants. We cannot wait to come back!

I love staying here. It was a quiet, cozy place to spend a couple of days. The cabin was clean and stocked with wood for a fire. The bed was very comfortable and warm. The ambiance was lovely with string lights turning on each evening. I highly recommend staying here.

This place was exactly what I needed! Total seclusion and the peaceful sounds of nature. Nicole's space is absolute magic and has everything you need for your escape to the woods. The fire place was excellent and the cabin was well stocked with fire wood, the bed was comfy and warm, and the outdoor shower was heaven on earth. There was also a really lovely selection of tea and coffee for the crisp mornings. Nicole is also so great and quick with all communications. I felt incredibly at home here and can't wait to come back!
