The Sierra Foothill Mini Ranch Camp is located in a historic cattle and sheep ranching area. Native Americans also have a deep history here as evidenced by several food grinding spots. The log cabin located here is currently being remodeled and there will be some light daytime construction activity. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent or park your small RV on a beautiful and semi-private Sierra foothill oak and grassland spot. This site provides water, electricity, a gas bar-be-que, shower, and a port-a-potty and sits mid-way between Yosemite and Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks and near other western Sierra destinations.

      Sierra Foothill Mini Ranch Camp
      My fiancé and I had a great stay at the Dwight’s mini ranch camp! He had a welcome gift waiting for us when we arrived and made sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having the chance to meet and give treats to Obama the llama was a fun addition to our trip. We highly recommend staying at Dwight’s mini ranch camp!

      Dwight is a great host. Site was beautiful. Obama the Llama was adorable. The shower in the horse trailer was perfect

      Perfect Quiet Site
      We stayed here one night in a camper van while traveling between Yosemite and King’s Canyon. We got to the site late but Dwight still came out to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed. The spot was quiet and clean. Don’t be scared of the shower in the horse trailer, it was better than any other campsite we stayed at and honestly better than most hotels! We had coffee and breakfast on the patio and it was so peaceful. This was by far the best spot we stayed at on our trip. Don’t pass this site up!

      We loved staying at camp! It had everything we needed and more. The hosts were amazing, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The site was beautiful and well thought out. The location was close to the lake and hikes. We will be back again!
