Peaceful Nest in Nature
I loved this place. I went to just get away from it all. I took a small camp stove to cook with and camp cookware set so I could eat when I was there. I spent time hiking at the local reserve, spent some time in the local small town. Watched the sunrise and sunset.
Inside the place was very clean.
FYI this place is out there, get to the end of the paved road, then go a while on the dirt road, reach the end of the county maintained road and then a few driveways up, you’re there. I wouldn’t recommend driving it the first time in darkness.
I was very comfortable being on the property. It’s right next to the main house, but you have your privacy. As a solo woman, I felt very safe here and Aimee was very nice n let me have my privacy but was around enough on if needed.

Peaceful Nature Tent Camping
My wife our two pups and I loved our stay at Aimee's land! Be prepared to carry all of your items. We tend to pack comfortably and had to make multiple trips to the car but we didn't mind it at all and brought a dolly to assist us. Aimee greater us and we could instantly feel her positive energy. We got lucky and just avoided the rain and had the whole area to ourselves. We will be booking another trip very soon! Thank you again Aimee!!

Peaceful Nature Tent Camping
Off-the-Beaten-Path Gem
Aimee was a wonderful and gracious host and very understanding and supportive of the rental car challenge that led us to arrive after dark.
We set up our tent between Site 1 and 2 and were grateful to have it to ourselves for the night.
Lovely guests, amazing sense of community and land stewardship, and just good vibes all around. The land is magical. The creek and river are healing. What a wonderful place to stumble upon. I do hope to be back again. <3

Peaceful Nature Tent Camping
Aimee was very communicative and helped me out with parking and everything else. The site had a lovely view and there are very nice hiking trails nearby that follow a lovely stream.

Peaceful Nest in Nature
Nirvana
I came to this site about a year ago and had a great time with my two boys. This year, my boys and I came back with my sister and her family. Even my 81 year-old mother joined the fun. My mom stayed at the “Perch” and was very, very comfortable. Nothing is ever good enough for that woman, but she was very happy and content in the nest. She spent her time relaxing on the porch and looking over the mountains. As for the rest of us, we had a blast. The site is secluded, but private and safe enough that we let our 12 year-old boys run around and explore on their own. We rode bikes, hiked, and rode horses. We even had a fancy dinner at a local restaurant about 20 minutes away. I’m sorry to say we didn’t quite “rough it” as we were comfortable the entire time. I absolutely love this site and will head back for years to come and see Aimee and her beautiful land.
