Situated in the local coastal plain of San Luis Obispo, CA, this mountainous farm is divided in half with a higher portion for running cattle and a lower portion for farming 200+ organic crops, ranging from ancient grains, beans, and peas to herbs and spices. Stock up at our on-farm store, located in a small barn to the right as you enter the property! You can also pick up your pumpkins and Christmas trees less than a mile east at Brookshire Farms.

Located within 7 miles of Montana De Oro State Park, our campsites offer close access to 100s of miles of hiking trails. Varying in both difficulty and landscape, some hikes offer ocean views, others offer the delightful scent of towering Eucalyptus groves. Additionally, we are only 8 miles from Morro Bay Beach.

From our higher elevation sites, guests get a bird's-eye view of Morro Bay and Morro Rock, with the waves crashing on the breakwater visible to the naked eye. On a clear day, you can also see all the way to Villa Creek Road, which is 7+ miles North of Cayucos and South of San Simeon, home of Hearst Castle. Villa Creek Road is the sight of the only viable Abalone Farm in California.

Additionally, we are about 5 miles to the back bay of Los Osos, known as Baywood Park. Baywood offers a variety of dining options, ranging from Pizza Parlors to high end restaurants.

At our farm, we offer 5 camping sites. There are two porta potties, one at the top site and a second located next to sites 1a, 1b & 2. Please bring your own toiletry supplies. We ask that you clean up after yourself in the bathroom and be respectful of other campers.

NO OFF-ROAD VEHICLES are allowed on our property

***Note: Our property is home to several hundred hives of bees. They awake when the sun rises and go to sleep as the sun sets. To access the campsites, you will drive right next to the bee hives. Please keep this in mind when booking your stay and be sure to close your windows when approaching your campsite! We are not responsible for any complications related to bee stings.***

IN THE EVENT OF RAIN, much of the property becomes muddy & impassable. Please be aware that we may need to cancel & refund your stay due to weather concerns.

TENT & TRAILER CAMPING- Campers, we ask that you stay in the designated camping area, corresponding to the site you booked. Also, vehicles are to stay on your campsite. Thank you for your understanding.

About this campsite:

CAMPSITE #4: Look for a green mailbox. When you enter the property, veer left. Take the driveway to the West (right) of the creek. Drive past the bees and the site is on the East (left), about 300 ft south of the bees. Do not go up the hill! That is campsite #3. There is a small green picnic table and chairs.

The farm is in such a convenient location! It is so peaceful too. We were in site #4 which is along the road up to the other sites but set apart. This is our third time staying at Larry's, we highly recommend it.

Larry was very responsive when I was making my reservation. He answered my questions quickly and helped me pick the site that would work best for my family. The site was easy to find and is a short drive to Montaña de Oro, Los Osos and Morro Bay.

If you book in advance with this place, just be warned the host is not very responsive. I sent a message a few hours before arriving, which he took over two hours to respond to. His writing was hard to understand, with a lot of misspelled words and a sentence whose meaning was completely unclear. I arrived after dark, which is perhaps not the best etiquette as a camper, but we can't always control when we are going to get somewhere. Upon arrival, I didn't see signs marked the way I was expecting. I tried driving the way I thought made the most sense, and my car couldn't make it up the hill because of thick mud, despite the listing saying that 4WD is not necessary. I tried calling the host while I was on site, but his phone when straight to voicemail, and his mailbox was full, so I wasn't even able to leave a voice message. He texted me the next morning (about 7 hours later), but I'd already given up and book a hotel in S.L.O at that point. I requested a refund and 13 days later have still not received one.

Great place! The farm is so beautiful! I have stayed at koa's and campsites in the county and State beach campsites. I feel like this farm has the nicest feeling to it! Plus, Larry got back to me very quickly with questions and was very friendly!

So please that you liked the vibration of our farm. I'm sure it liked your feet stepping on it as well. That's the best way to feel the vibration of our precious Earth. Our frequency is 528. It's such a pleasure to me to be able to steward a part of this beautiful Earth. Please do return when the opportunity arises for you!!

We really loved our stay! Larry is a great host and the place was really quiet and had a nice view. There was a small private concert nearby on the farm to which we were invited by Larry, it was wonderful!
