Situated in the local coastal plain of San Luis Obispo, CA, this mountainous farm is divided in half with a higher portion for running cattle and a lower portion for farming 200+ organic crops, ranging from ancient grains, beans, and peas to herbs and spices. Stock up at our on-farm store, located in a small barn to the right as you enter the property! You can also pick up your pumpkins and Christmas trees less than a mile east at Brookshire Farms.
Located within 7 miles of Montana De Oro State Park, our campsites offer close access to 100s of miles of hiking trails. Varying in both difficulty and landscape, some hikes offer ocean views, others offer the delightful scent of towering Eucalyptus groves. Additionally, we are only 8 miles from Morro Bay Beach.
From our higher elevation sites, guests get a bird's-eye view of Morro Bay and Morro Rock, with the waves crashing on the breakwater visible to the naked eye. On a clear day, you can also see all the way to Villa Creek Road, which is 7+ miles North of Cayucos and South of San Simeon, home of Hearst Castle. Villa Creek Road is the sight of the only viable Abalone Farm in California.
Additionally, we are about 5 miles to the back bay of Los Osos, known as Baywood Park. Baywood offers a variety of dining options, ranging from Pizza Parlors to high end restaurants.
At our farm, we offer 3 camping sites, two at the base of the mountain and a third located at the top of the mountain. There are two porta potties, one at the top site and a second located next to sites 1 & 2. Please bring your own toiletry supplies. We ask that you clean up after yourself in the bathroom and be respectful of other campers.
NO OFF-ROAD VEHICLES are allowed on our property
***Note: Our property is home to several hundred hives of bees. They awake when the sun rises and go to sleep as the sun sets. To access the campsites, you will drive right next to the bee hives. Please keep this in mind when booking your stay and be sure to close your windows when approaching your campsite! We are not responsible for any complications related to bee stings.***
IN THE EVENT OF RAIN, much of the property becomes muddy & impassable. Please be aware that we may need to cancel & refund your stay due to weather concerns.

Such a unique campsite with beautiful views! Larry was so welcoming and helpful even though he was out of town - we still felt as if he was there at the farm with us!
We stayed in site 2 and it was a great spot. Still enough privacy from our neighbors at site 1, even though we shared the toilet.
We also loved Larry’s selection of organic produce made at the farm! That was probably the best souvenir of our trip.
We will definitely stay here again! You can’t beat the views, the location, and the hospitality! We will probably try site 3 next time!
We Just had our second stay at Larry’s farm for a two nighter. It’s serene, beautiful and quiet. The location is nicely located near our favorite costal spots and wine country choices. Really lucked out with the wildLife this time. We saw a fully mature bald eagle with prey in its talons. Close enough to see clearly without bins. What a treat!

So great to hear about the bald eagle. A couple years ago I thought they were going to nest in our willows but they did not. We are certainly looking forward to your return visit or visit!!
Amazing view. Really awesome time!! Super private

Great to hear that you expectations may have been exceeded!!
Beautiful space! We loved drinking our coffee and watching the sun come up over the property. It was gorgeous and felt very private. Great space to camp with our dog close to town. Clean portapotty. Definitely recommend!
We had a wonderful time camping on Larry's land! Larry's property is in an amazing location: just a short drive to Morro Bay, Los Osos, and SLO. We spent a week in beautiful site #2 and loved watching the sunset from the property each evening. We saw lots of wildlife on the land during our stay: deer, hummingbirds, rabbits, California quails. Larry is a kind and generous host: he offered us wonderful suggestions for things to do in his area. (You MUST hike the Bluff trail at Montaña de Oro!). Larry is passionate about regenerative/organic farming and I enjoyed learning about the speciality crops he's growing! Sidenote: We work and travel full-time and so phone service is important to us: we had 3 bars of Verizon on Larry's property and so we were able to work remotely with the best view! Thank you, Larry!

It was definitely my pleasure to have you guys on the farm for the week. Seeing the bus in the background was always amazing and what you have been doing is amazing!
This site is easy to find and set up on. The views were amazing and it felt quite private. Larry is amazing at communicating with you prior and during your stay. We had three small children with us and it was great for them to explore. It’s also very close to other hikes and Morro bay was a short drive.
This is a fantastic location, Larry was great to work with, super responsive with the communication, my family and I were setting up camp in spot two whe Larry drove up to welcome us. Very nice guy, welcoming and down to earth. He offered us the option of going up to site 3 since o one else was coming in that night. I had read the reviews of site 3 where people were recommending 4 wheel drives but we hiked up and later decided that the van could make it. It’s magical I’d go back in a minute!!

Very pleased to have you enjoy your visit on our magical farm. Part of the magic comes from the beautiful people who visit. Thank you for being included in that group. The welcome mat is always there!!
My group really loved this place. View was perfect, Larry was responsive and helpful, and it was close to SLO and MB. The site was level, quiet, safe, and easy to find. Would come back!

My pleasure to host you and yours!!
Larry was so kind and his campsites were beautiful. The toilets are well serviced and the location is perfect for traveling through SLO.
