"For Every Star, A Tree" is our mission: to plant as many trees, flowers, vines, and shrubs as we can. Our vision is to cultivate this acreage into a garden oasis. When you book a stay with us, 100% of the proceeds go directly to planting, watering, and caring for plants.

Thank you for helping us make this space a nature sanctuary.

ACCOMMODATIONS

This listing is specifically for CAMPING out on the property. We also have a GLAMPING experience: the “Starry Night Skoolie.” To book a stay on the RV Bus, please view our skoolie property listing. The Starry Night Skoolie is an AIR CONDITIONED / HEATED tiny house / school bus that runs off of solar electricity and portable generators. You can use the shower, sink, camper stove, convection oven, hot plate, refrigerator, fans, WiFi, online streaming, and of course, fall asleep in a comfortable bed! Great for families, couples, remote workers, and anyone looking for a glamping experience.

TOILET

For urine, we encourage you to do like the animals do--pee on the trees! The nitrogen is good for the soil.

For solid waste, we have constructed a tent bathroom by the trees. There is saw dust and toilet paper as well as a toilet box/bucket system for containing odor and staying sanitary.

VIEWS

Our property is located just over the mountain butte range. It is normally extremely silent, but on occasion you will hear a distant generator or an airplane. You will be able to see clear skies, 360 degree mountains in the distance, and pure desert without any main roads. It is a stargazers' paradise.

NEIGHBORS AND PRIVACY

The property is enclosed within a mesh fence, and there is a locked gate at the entrance. It feels very quiet because we are hidden by a slight hill that conceals us from the main road; this means people driving by will not be able to see you. While it feels private, please remember you are still in an open clearing. There are three under-construction properties in the distance.

Occasionally, you can hear the vibrations of a neighbor’s gas-powered generator. You can drown it out by playing music or lighting a campfire.

WILDLIFE

Lizards, beetles, dragonflies, grasshoppers, moths, butterflies, bees, birds, chipmunks, ants, and mice have visited our garden. Early in the morning, you can hear the roadrunner calling from a nearby joshua tree. We have seen a rattlesnake, so please be aware of your surroundings and listen before you pick anything up.

There are stray dogs that roam through this area looking for food. We have also seen a young coyote.
