Conveniently located long I-5 just south of the CA/OR border, we have 15 acres that are a mix of conifer forest and a chaparral hilltop with spectacular views of Mount Shasta. Our small, friendly campground offers clean, comfortable bathrooms with (free!) hot showers and a coin-op laundry room. Community fire pit and BBQ area, too! Minutes from world-class fishing, hiking, climbing, kayaking, skiing... all year long, it's an outdoorsmans paradise! Use us as your base camp for all your North State adventures! Did we mention we have goats & chickens to watch, feed & pet? Fruit trees & wild blackberries. Walking trails through the forest, and the most perfect hilltop spot to kick back in our comfy Adirondacks with a glass of wine to stargaze.

Chaparral Loop: Tent Site T5

My fiancé and I loved camping on Karen and jay’s property. The views were fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. They also had the cutest little store that had all the necessities plus more. Karen and Jay were super welcoming and communication with them was very easy. We would definitely book with them again :)

This facility is clean and near the freeway. Just what was needed for a stop over between CA & OR. Karen was very responsive to our questions. Site T1 is suitable for small van.

1961 Shasta Airflyte

Super easy to get to and upon arriving the trailer was well heated. Plus for bedding because we did not bring our own. Absolutely loved the decor! And the bathroom/showers close by was a plus. Aspects that were hard were that the door did not shut all the way and we could not lock it. We were unaware that there was no running water in the trailer in case we wanted to prepare our own food and wash dish in the comfort of the trailer and info on where to get wood for fire pit would have been helpful. In the end for one night it was worth it.

Great place super nice the small river very peaceful Lots of freeway noise but you kinda don’t pay attention to it after a while. Very lovely spot
