Spend a night or two in one of our vintage Silver Streak travel trailers. This secluded rural xeriscaped camp site is nestled among mature Sycamore, Birch and Ash trees. It's an easy drive to Temecula Valley Wineries and the Pechanga Casino. Old Town Temecula is just 2 miles down the road with great restaurants, night life, shopping and a farmers market on Saturday mornings. Wine Country is an easy 10 minute drive down Rancho California Road. The mild chill of the ocean breezes that roll in around the late afternoon and early evening offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy a modest campfire on the Cowboy Caldron. The Caldron is well suited for grilling, cooking hobo packs, and roasting s'mores for dessert. An ample supply of fire wood is provided. There are shaded picnic tables and plenty of seating around the fire pit. Our vintage Silver Streaks are clean and mostly original inside and out. We've based their names on the color of their original propane stoves. They features the many of the original appliances as well as modern upgrades including: a refrigerator, microwave, kitchen and bath room sinks and shower with hot and cold running water. The trailers all have flush toilets on septic. Our goal is to provide our guests with a unique wine country escape and experience.

The campsite has ample seating around a hanging fire pit. Campers are encouraged to utilize the campfire facility but please use common sense. Keep the fire size reasonable. One or two logs maximum make for a nice fire. Do not leave an unattended fire and extinquish any glowing embers before retiring to bed.

Our trailers are is an original 1960's era Silver Streaks. We ask that first time campers give us 10 minutes of your time upon arrival to orient you to the inherant idiosyncrasies of these 50 plus year old pieces of American history. Please be very gentle with them. Original parts are very expensive & difficult to find & replace. Please be careful when opening and closing the vents and windows.

We are located in a rural residential neighborhood overlooking the Temecula Valley. Many of our neighbors have planted vineyards, and the majority of Temecula's wineries are a 10 minute drive away. Historic Old Town is just down the hill 2 miles away. Some of the available activeties are hot air balloon rides, wine tasting, hiking or biking. Historic Old Town Temecula abounds with restaurants, night life, shopping, & antiques. It's the last surviving authentic western town in Southern California. Temecula hosts the famous Wine & Ballon Festival every spring with top line entertainment. Pechanga resort and casino also have shows and concerts. Cross Creek Golf course is in the neighborhood and there are many other golf courses in the Valley.

Ray was an awesome host! Our trailer we stayed in was absolutely adorable, very clean, and even fit with a "s'mores kit" for the firepit! Not only that, but he gave us a tour of the other trailers too. As a lover of vintage trailers myself, staying here was a dream. It was a 5 minute drive to Downtown and very close to all of the nearby wineries. I would highly suggest staying here and hope to come back again in the future!

Time travel back to the 1960's when you stay in this restored 1967 Silver Streak camper! My sister and I spent the weekend with Sage which got it's name from the color of the cute stove in its kitchen. Candide (landowner) has some mad sewing skills so all the fabric is updated, the stove and heater are hooked up to propane tanks and the toilet is connected to a septic tank. All these modern touches make it really comfortable to stay in. Also, all the dishes, pots, pans and even a coffee press are provided. You could cook all your meals here if you wanted to although Old Town Temecula is only 2 miles from here so we ate out. The campsite is secluded and sheltered by the hills so it's like your own private get-a-way. The landowners Ray and Candide were friendly, generous and very helpful. They were able to hang out with us around the campfire and share some of their passions like food and travel. They're renovating the other vintage Silver Streaks on site so this will make a great group site soon. Another cool feature is the hanging fire pit/ caldron. You can use it as a fire pit from the wood provided or put the grate on and cook on it. Overall a peaceful place that's close to Old Town and the local wineries. Stay here for a quiet night and great camp hosts.

Camp Candide is the communal area for all the campers. It's surrounded by drought resistant plants and shaded by a few trees and 2 shaders hung up. A nice breeze flows through keeping it cool.Early morning outside of Sage. It was like stepping back in time to the 60's staying here. Everything inside is vintage but updated where it needed it.Our olive oil tasting server suggested that we eat at the Goat and Vine on 5th Street in Old Town Temecula. We ordered this appetizer with wine and it was perfect. Go early because there was a line forming out the door and it wasn't even open yet!Part of the fun of traveling is meeting new people. Ray and Candide (landowners) joined us for a few drinks to talk about camping, traveling, life and food. They're big foodies and full of great cooking tips!
