Fresh bread. Fresh eggs. I wanted to stay. The cottage was super cute and had everything you needed. Oh, and the bathtub! Definitely recommend.
Lovely garden cottage loft in an excellent location!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Rose Cottage. It was perfect for our weekend in Santa Cruz! Lydia and Justin are warm and friendly hosts who have a lovely property that’s located in such a great area. We also purchased fresh eggs and homemade sourdough bread from Lydia and it was the absolute best bread we’ve ever tasted! We would absolutely recommend that anyone stays here and we hope to be back ourselves!
What a find! Who would have think that there’s something this rustic in the middle of an urban neighborhood. Lydia did a great job. This is more than just glamming. It has all the comfort of home. Nice clean shower/bathtub. Fully equipped kitchen. Close to everything in Santa Cruz. We plan to come back for sure whenever we are in Santa Cruz.

Lydia’s stay is perfect! Lovely little space with all the essentials, clean and tidy and super quiet, right next to a beautiful garden. Wake up to chickens and sunshine. Lots of sunny windows. The neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet. It’s also dog friendly!
