Surrounded by Cleveland National Forest and centrally located between San Diego, LA and Palm Springs, The Preserve at Temecula Creek will soon become one of your go-to camp spots.  We have seven sites on forty acres and the SkyView “Mega” site is a group favorite.  You and your crew will have a ton of room to spread out on your own separate slice of the property.  Drive down a short dirt path to your own camp clearing where you can park your cars, place your tents or set up your trailer. You will have your own private 10x10 ft. raised wooden camp platform for you to use for tents, canopies, cowboy camping or just staring up at the stars.

Come see why The Preserve at Temecula Creek is one of the most reviewed and highest rated camps in SoCal!

Beautiful private campsite.
I know that it’s tough not to have restroom and water access but this place totally worth it!

Our weekend stay at Bob’s Skyview Megasite was nothing short of absolutely amazing! We booked this listing to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and what a wonderful experience! We met Bob and his parents shortly after arriving to the site and they were so lovely, receptive, and answered all of our questions with no hesitation. The site itself had plenty of room to pitch up multiple tents and park cars, as well as an awesome group hangout area and a very well-maintained port-a-potty. It got chilly in the evenings during our stay, but the cold was well worth braving to view the night sky and all its stars. Plus, we had the campfire to keep us warm! Our trip to Bob’s campsite was such a serene, disconnected, beautiful one and we cannot wait to come back again another time!

Such a beautiful property. Our site was a great size. It’s cold at night in October so make sure you come prepared. We had a wonderful time with friends. Would definitely recommend to friends & would come back for sure!

The host and the campsite were both amazing! He was very flexible with check in and check out times and always replied back fast whenever I messaged him. We had about 4 vehicles and 5 tents and the space was just the right size. It was our first time camping with small children the location was perfect. I highly recommended SkyView Group Camp Site and we will most definitely be back.

Be prepared for the 2 mile off roading to the camp site. We had a 4WD Ram Rebel, 2WD Toyota 4Runner, 4WD Hybrid Lexus NX300, and a 4WD Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. No issues getting to the campsite.

Recently stayed at Skyview with 6 friends and it was awesome. Upon arriving, every guest would say 2 things: "wow, this site is amazing!" and "that road is no joke!" (we're not off-roaders). My Outback made it up just fine, but there were a few areas to look out for -- definitely take it slow and I'd recommend driving that road during the day.
The site is plenty big and the Guest Hangout is just a short walk away. The guest spot is really cool -- several hammocks, a shade dome, a shade awning, picnic table, Weber Q grill, and more (just bring a grill brush).
Not a lot of shade so definitely bring your pop-ups. Amazing sunsets, lots of stars and lots of privacy. Bob stopped by on Friday night to check on us and was super friendly. I'd definitely recommend and look forward to booking another trip here.

Camping unlike any other

This was a camping experience unlike any other. While the two mile dirt road to get there was challenging even for my 4-wheel drive, straddling the larger ruts and going VERY slow over the unavoidable ones worked well. Anyone who has gone off-roading or driven on rugged mountain roads should have no problem. You just have to observe the road carefully and put your car in the best position to avoid or gently travel over the obstacles of ruts and some rocks. The reward for completing this two mile stretch is getting access to a remote part of nature that you won’t find at typical campgrounds or national parks.

The two nights we spent at the very large Skyview campsite were awesome. It was extremely peaceful due to there being very few campsites on this massive preserve. Our day hikes of 2-5 miles up the mountain were great workouts in the sun, but the most enjoyable parts of our vacation were sleeping under the stars in such a quiet environment in very comfortable temperatures. The second night, we even stumbled upon a cute bed and chairs that were apparently put near our campsite for guests to use. So what the heck, we just threw a sleeping bag over the bed, then laid down and pleasantly watched the stars for a couple hours before retiring to our tent.

The extra accessories put in the “Guest Hangout” were really cool, too, including a super comfortable hammock, a large cabana for shade during the day while equipped with slots for stargazing at night, and various picnic items. You can tell the owners of this campground really want their guests to have a good time. Well, we certainly did, and appreciate their hospitality.

Enjoying the cool morning at our campsite with that precious first cup of hot coffee! Hiking beyond the closed vehicle gate.Hiking a mile or so up the road from our campsite. Our Skyview campsite.
