SkyView is our largest site with its own truck trail that allows you to drive down into a huge clearing.  Priced the same as all other sites with 4+ people.  SkyView is set the furthest back of any site, and offers room to play with maximum distance from other campers.  It even has some shade trees for some relief on a hot day.

The Preserve has multiple Guest Hangout areas with shared amenities, including fire pits, hammock, picnic tables, sun shade, dog pen & gazebo, food prep stations and a camp toilet with privacy tent. Garbage/Camp Toilet bags are restocked weekly in the Camp Kit at each site.

Really unique spot with beautiful plants and an incredible sky. It was a bit difficult for me to find, but Bob was super quick to respond and help me out!

This camp spot was by far the prettiest we've stayed at/seen on this cross country roadtrip. Bob was super informative with his guide to getting there (watch the YouTube vid, trust me). I will say that driving after dark makes it a bit more difficult but we made it in the end. The terrain is rougher than you'd think getting up there but once you do, it's well worth it! There's a dope set-up with hammocks and a picnic table and everything a short distance from the primary campsite, the sunrise is gorgeous, the area is really quiet and there's a lot of space to walk and explore (great for pups too). Bob was super chill & easy to reach - not to mention very helpful when we had some car issues. Certainly will be back again & I highly recommend!

The Preserve was far more than I expected. I was up there alone and had a wonderful time. Stargazers and Nature enthusiasts are in for a treat. I plan to return and hope to bring friends.

The Skyview camping area was incredible. If you have a dog, I think this is the best campsite as it is huge and away from the road with plenty of space for the dog to roam. It is the closest campsite to the communal kitchen area which was spotless when we got there. We were the only campers that used it the whole time. The toilet was also spotless as well. We appreciated the use of the geodome to hang out in (also very close to the site). There was plenty of shade under a tree as well. Beautiful sunset, wide open sky. Will definitely be back to the Skyview campground. Bob was incredibly helpful when we were briefly lost. We had a second camper that we didn't know show up to use the site as well, while we weren't expecting this our dogs got along fabulously and it ended up being a bonus. Our Nissan Maxima had no issues getting there even though it doesn't have especially high clearance (just go very slow!). The only recommendation I would have would be to place a "Preserve Hipcamp Campgrounds" sign at the beginning of the dirt road, we were unsure if we were on the right track for a bit. Loved the experience though! Really appreciate the cleanliness and thoughtful touches like hammocks.

the site was bigger than i expected which was awesome. we were pretty isolated from other campers so that was a plus.
