We stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. My two kids adored all the animals, especially feeding the cows. We felt free to let them explore on their own for the most part as the main part of
the campground is away from the road and somewhat enclosed. The sites are all spacious and grassy. Little to no shade, so bring your own! :) Very clean and well-maintained portable toilets and sink for washing hands and dishes. The hosts turned on a sprinkler periodically which was used by kids and adults alike to cool off. If mask usage is important to you, take note that the hosts did not use masks at any point and mask use was optional in communal areas. It’s mostly easy to avoid coming in close contact with others if desired. Overall, a positive experience.

The Meadows is a fantastic place to stay. I would definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway. The host are so sweet and really accommodating. I selected a site that was at the other side of the property and Terri offered to move me closer. I declined but you can truly tell they want each guest to feel comfortable.
The bathrooms are port-a-potties which were well kept, and there was a sink (bring your own soap).
The lower number sites were cute and good for small groups. The larger the numbers the more spaced out the campsite seemed. I was in space 16 which was nice because I was fortunate enough to have a tree that provided shade all morning and into mid afternoon. The other sites did not have trees/shade so bring a pop up if that is a concern for you. Sites 14-16 were along the main road which could be a bit noisy and busy but it wasn’t too bad in the evenings.
I really enjoyed the overall quietness of the campground as well as the view. There are lavender bushes, windmills in the back ground, and a cute farm area with cows and chickens. While it was closed due to COVID, the animals was a nice touch that made it homey. The sunsets are picturesque, but it can get very windy so brace yourself to deal with the wind.
Overall I had a great time and would definitely comeback for a little relaxation on the delta.

Michael and Terri were fantastic hosts - welcoming, informative, and with great pre-visit communications. The site itself was just as advertised: a pretty location, with plenty of space in each of the site-by-site campsites. My son had a BLAST running around, playing cornhole and tetherball, etc. Most importantly, Michael and Terri made him feel welcome and like a part of their team when it was time to feed or interact with their two cows - my son hasn't stopped talking about his experiences "on the farm." They really went out of their way to indulge him, and I'll always appreciate it.

Do note that during our stay (early August) it was HOT (mid 90's, but felt hotter) during the day, and didn't cool off much till well after dark. When we go back I'll be sure to bring a large umbrella or sun-shade of some sort - without those, we got pretty "well done" as there's no natural shade at any of the campsites. Also note that there were a lot of mosquitoes in the evening (wish I'd brought stronger bug spray), and around sundown a bunch of owls started swooping over the campsite! Seeing the owls was a thrill, but they're not the gentle "hoot, hoot" owls you may be picturing - these ones *screech* like an angry cat. They weren't so loud that they disrupted our sleep, but it was quite a surprise! I'm not sharing these details to scare anyone away - quite the opposite! This was a lovely campout location, and it'll be even more fun if you plan ahead for the factors I noted above :-)

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations! The hosts were excellent, the experience was just what we needed. We will return with friends and revisit one of our new, best place destinations to go to and see the progress of our hosts visions of what their property will be! Melvin and Sweet Roy are pets on the property that we loved and you will to. Thank you Terri and Michael for your hospitality and we look forward to our return!

Michael the host was there to greet us after we arrived. He was great hung out and answered all our questions.

The site was large and clean. Only downside was the lack of shade as it was over 100. Luckily we arrived at 6:30 so it wasn’t a huge problem.

There is a bit of noise from the road nearby and there seemed to be some of their industrial area near by with trucks etc that went late. But it wasn’t super loud and we slept ok.
