Place was exactly what I was looking for. Michael was awesome. The site was clean, tho muddy because it's been raining but the fire pit was just what I needed to relax after a long drive. I woke up to peace and quiet and a very pretty view of the vineyards. It was a perfect overnight stop.

I would never have imagined such a serene spot near Sacramento. Really delightful grounds and host. Recommend getting there before dark because the narrow twisty roads on top of levees could be alarming in the dark.

Nice base explore the delta! Michael was super friendly when we arrived and helped us settle in and provide some local guidance to Isleton and the surrounds.

Michael and Terri were wonderful hosts, the space was large and Michael helpfully guided me into the parking spot. Next time we would probably opt for the additional garbage bag option/add-on instead of carry in/out. It's a bit pricey, but the convenience/being so close to San Fransisco helped offset.

We were lucky to arrive before the check-in cutoff time and enjoy a leisurely walk around the main street.

We had a lovely time! Great hosts, fun with the animals, good food in town and a great day out on the delta. It was a bit exposed when the wind kicked up / but that was expected and just part of camping!!!

Such a cute farm hidden in the town of Isleton. It’s a quiet location off the highway. The hosts were very welcoming and quick to answer any questions we had, we definitely felt like we were at a home away from home there. This was a special camping trip for us as it was our grandsons first camping trip ever and boy did he enjoy learning about and feeding the animals (and so did we) while we were there! We can’t wait to come back! This is definitely on our list for return visits!

What a fantastic time. My partner and I work in the service industry and are quite passionate about it. But this past week we truly learned what it means to host someone. When they say southern hospitality I’d like to think they mean south in the delta at Michael and Terri’s farm in Isleton. You can’t truly imagine the setting unless you go. But Michael made it an experience for us. Highly recommend walking down to the bank of the Sacramento River that runs just up against the “old town” downtown. But don’t stay out too late because no matter the cloud content of sky you miss the sun setting over Mt. Diablo and the north of it strewn with windmills.
