Stayed here on Thanksgiving, thought we might encounter some other travelers but we had the place to ourselves and it was wonderful! The biggest highlight is probably the drive in, it’s about 1.5 hours from Big Sur but the entire drive was stunning and worth staying off the beaten path. My favorite part of the camp is definitely the bath & outdoor shower, the setup was lovely and the water was HOT the whole time. The swing set and stage setup were a fun touch too. Had a great time and would come back :) !

What a neat spot! Michael, Kevin, and Mark were all super nice and hospitable. My friend and I camped there for one night on our way down the coast and it was a great experience. Located off the beaten path within Carmel Valley, Camelot is the perfect spot to spend an evening while traveling on the road. They are set up to host both rigs and tents; there's a great rustic bathroom, fire pit, and open Wifi.

I would definitely recommend!

Stayed here for 5 nights and it was a really incredible experience. The hosts are genuinely interested in making sure you have the best stay possible. I was welcomed with a beer and they made setting up my travel trailer RV a breeze. Also, I realized the next day that I had a flat on my RV and Mark (one of the hosts) insisted that he could replace it for me while I went out and hiked. They suggested a great place to go get a spare and that went very smooth. They let me borrow a ladder to inspect the top of my rig. They were a lot of fun to hang out with and get to know but also respected my space when I wanted to hang out and relax. Peacocks walking around are hilarious and fun. Bathroom is better than most things you’ll find camping with hot water for the shower. Would definitely recommend this for a unique camping experience.

This spot was exactly what we needed traveling to Southern California! We have a truck with a roof top tent. So, we chose a space a little more secluded than some of the spots by the entrance. We didn’t hear any of the other campers upon getting to our space! This place is hard to beat with the amenities available - shower, toilets, sinks, fire pits, etc. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful as well! Definitely worth it if you are looking for a little more than just a place to pitch a tent.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming. There's a really cool outdoor theatre setup and a communal fire pit. Clean shared bathroom and shower.

Although we didn’t meet Michael, we enjoyed our stay in this ultra-secluded property. No phone service (AT&T) so WiFi was critical. We were greeted by Mark & Kevin (owner’s friends) to get us settled. We opted to park near the stage (at entrance to property) so we could have power.
Mr Kevin helped to get a fire going and get our movie (Beauty and the Beast) projected onto the big screen. It was really fantastic for our girls.
Do Note: there is a group of loud dogs across the canyon that were pretty loud but they seemed to halt later in the evening.

A view from our RV spot of the great stage and projection screen. Amazing evening of a great fire and movie just for our girls (they close Beauty and the Beast blu ray). Outstanding experience!Beautiful peacocks that are part of the property and roost around the area.

We only stayed there for one night but we really enjoyed it. There was functioning Wifi, a great hot shower and a beautiful outdoor bath under the stars. Mark greeted us when we arrived and was very nice, and even sent us off with two peacock feathers from his peacocks. Would definitely recommend staying here! But be advised, it’s quite remote.
