When coming into The Grove campground from the entrance gate, Site#1 and #5 are to your right. Site #1 will be first, and then beyond that- #5. It is the furthest from the entrance gate, along the road side. With a tell-tale old fruit tree being the landmark.
**When you book this site, Hipcamp will tell you that you booked site#1 of "The Grove Site #5". (As it is, this site and site #4, are their own listings due to Hipcamps' data management, so they then also number them the first sites of those listings. It has proven confusing) Rest assured, you have booked SITE #5 of The Grove.

A LARGE, beautiful site only minutes from Bodega Bay and several beaches. Fun, safe place for kids to explore. If you have an RV consider spots 1,2,3 which are flatter but we managed to get pretty level because of the wide open space available. The bathroom is super clean and cute.
Best little outhouse in california!
If only all outhouses could be like the outhouse at The Grove! We enjoyed our stay at this campsite. The ground was level and even though we were close to the road, there wasn’t a lot of traffic. We especially enjoyed waking up to cows peering at us over the fence next to our tent! Will definitely come here again.
Good place for the cost.
We were the only campers there, our site was near Hwy 1, a bit of road noise. The location was great for getting to Tomales Bay restaurants and to get an early start to Pt. Reyes.
Pasture proves to be perfect
Detailed directions and clearly-marked property were essential for us at this site, because we arrived LATE. But getting in and setting up were a breeze, and in the morning we found this pretty site to be just as advertised!
Good spot, privacy just ok.
Really secluded spot on highway 1. Right up the street from the small village Tomales which has a couple little restaurants. It’s literally right off of highway one so there are cars passing but traffic seemed to be pretty slow between 8pm-9am. I would come here again for the reasonable price.
