An enchanted experience awaits you in this nomadic-looking, turn-key, just-show-up-and-be-camping bell tent! The surroundings are a beautiful green meadow with large arching oak trees that provide shade throughout the day.  The tent itself is a large, waterproof, nomadic-style bell tent and is fully carpeted! It is 17 feet in diameter and has a 10 foot ceiling so you it feels spacious. We have a high-end, queen size airbed in the tent with sheets, pillows, a warm comforter and extra blanket. There are lots of oversize floor pillows to sit/lounge upon. Access to 110 AC electric power in the tent! There is ivy and twinkle lights around the inside perimeter and center pole (see pics), which create a dreamy experience in the evening. There is also a salt light for therapeutic and mood enhancement as well.

A couple of outdoor chairs are available to just sit and unwind while watching the birds and squirrels play.  A creek runs across the meadow leading to a small pond where you can see small fish, frogs and a wide variety of birds including hawks.  This is a Riparian designated area so it is truly active with natural beauty.  No fishing or swimming in the pond, please.

The meadow  may have a couple of other campers nearby in their designated spaces with plenty of space between. The property is 2 acres of land located 2 miles from Hwy 20 and a mile away from the local community with restaurants, a market, hardware store, and gas station.  The main house is on the hill above the meadow area.  You can hike, shop or visit sites in Grass Valley in about 10 minutes or Nevada City in 15 minutes. A large park, Western Gateway Park, has a sectioned dog park, Bocca Ball court, disc golf, a creek, grassy fields with picnic tables, and a weekly farmers market.

A shared, private, lockable outhouse/changing room, (with composting toilet/urinal and men's urinal), is close by. Solar shower also available. Potable water and tabletop available. Campfires during allowed times of the year. Crystal labyrinth on the land for grounding and meditation.

Step away from the stressors of daily life and unwind at the Hollow.  We encourage you to check out this enchanted experience!  If you are curious about learning Survival skills such as fire making, we offer this education.
