Plenty to explore around the area and a place to put your feet up and enjoy some trees. THE ADDRESS TO YOUR SITE DOES NOT MATCH THE ROAD SIGNS. PLEASE ENSURE YOU SEE THE PHOTO OF THE MAP SHOWING THE LOCATION BEFORE YOU HEAD OUR WAY. <3 Property is actually located on Old Camptonville Road.
The other site on our property, Teepee for Two, is near your Burrow, so when it is booked you may have company in the area. All campers are responsible for being respectful of one another's space and Universal Quiet times. If you would like to book both sites to ensure you have the full space, we have been finding that working well for some.
The camping loo is in a grey privacy tent between both sites. Please help us keep this space clean and upon checkout remove the waste bag, tie it shut and deposit it in the provided waste bin near the garage. Please replace the bag with the ones provided in the tent so the loo is ready for the next campers.
This flat is not far from our home, which provides you with access to the WIFI and you do have your own privacy. The side to the north of you is complete open Forest Service property. You also are welcome to walk up into the trees on our property through the trails that leave from your flat near the teepee.
We are new owners to this property. Be sure to come back as we will be making improvements. The driveway up to the flat site has a few steep parts. Please be aware of that as you decide which vehicles to bring. Also, please know there are animals and children in our home. We welcome your friendly furry friends and children to the campsite.

My wife and I decided to book this place for a mini getaway trip for the weekend. Kelsha was very responsive before our trip and when we sent messages trying to find the place.
The home on the property itself is close by the camp site (about 800 feet) but with the tall trees surrounding it, we didn’t mind. It was very quiet and even though there are neighbors nearby, we didn’t hear them. Because the site was close to the home, we were able to connect to their WiFi provided by Kelsha. There is a bonfire pit provided and a table and chairs. There is also plenty of wood on the property. There are 2 huge stones off to the side you can sit on and enjoy the sounds of birds chirping. Our dogs enjoyed the ample space wondering around the property. There are wild mushrooms so stay attentive to your dogs.
A water hose and power chord is provided for your convenience if you want to stay plugged in. I like how there is a trash bin provided! We didn’t have to pack out our trash which was nice!
We spent half the day exploring Malakoff Higgins State Park trails which is about 10 minute drive from the site. We even stumbled upon an OHV trail that takes you to a beautiful outlook of the forest. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a safe and peaceful spot to rest for the night. We would stay here again! :)
Such a cool place. Just minutes from water (Bullards Bar and Yuba River) and trails (trail running/hiking and mountain biking), outdoor recreation everywhere you look. Mother Truckers Market only 15 minutes away and they have about anything you’d need for food & drink. Wonderful flat area to set up camp. Everything was as advertised. Nice and quiet (I hope we weren’t too loud 😂) Easy to find and a great property to explore. I’m looking forward to camping here again and excited to see all the improvements Kelsha has in store.
Charming little haven
Kelsha’s place is a beautiful haven a few hours outside the Bay Area. We had a great time rv camping there and exploring the woods nearby. It was quiet and even though Her home was nearby, it felt like we were quite alone there. She’s a gracious host who is very prompt with replies and friendly.
Quiet little place for rest
The area is beautiful and peaceful. We found lots of hikes and outdoor activities for our stay. The host was super responsive and sweet and we very much enjoyed our stay. It’s a little tricky to get there so make sure to get the map before you make the trek into wilderness as the neighbors were not thrilled to have out of town folks driving around.
We had a great time! Kelsha is such a kinda and generous host! The camp site was flat and well laid out, very open and beautiful. So many perks too like a hose for water, a huge water jug with potable water, electrical hookups (but bring a long extension cord if you need plug ins at the very end of the campsite).
We found the tent spots perfect with not only flat areas in many places but plenty of sunshine at just the right times of day. The makeshift bathroom was also amazing with provided toilet paper and baby wipes.
Our dog Kodi had a blast! He felt right at home in the woods. Plenty of firewood to scavenge for fires and a great open fire pit made it especially enjoyable. My bf played lots of music pretty loud during the day as well as his guitar at night so hopefully we weren’t too loud but it seemed to be amicable.
Since the back of the campsite is the property line where the national forest starts there’s lots of privacy, and we hiked up and around the trails which was fun too! The area was pretty quiet. We heard a few things going on here and there, but we were probably louder overall so we didn’t mind that.
Thanks to Kelsha for all the amenities and providing such a relaxing camping getaway. We had the best time!
